I’m not real sure where these extreme scenarios with the Light came from. The Traveler had millions of years as the dominate power when the Worm Gods were trapped. It cultivated an entire galaxy for Millions of years and what happened? Nothing. The Traveler didn’t make a single person immortal. Except maybe the Leviathan. Who spent all its time watching the Worm Gods. So where is this crap coming from? It’s one of the most hamfisted changes I’ve seen in this franchise. Literally everything in the lore points that the Traveler and Light wouldn’t do it. Especially in light of the fact they already had the chance and showed they won’t. But the Darkness and Nine make the [i]accusation[/i] (shocker, they all have an interest in dominating the Light for their own gain by the way) and it’s treated like gospel? Sorry but no. Doesn’t float at all.
