THE MALFEASANCE QUEST IS THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED
In all honesty, I was enjoying this quest before I reached the last step. Killing my opponents as an invader is fairly easy, but getting a team wipe? No sir, can’t do it, no matter how hard I try. My stats say that I have done it at least once before, but even with an arcstaff, a grenade, my melee ability, and a full mag for DARCI, it feels impossible. Gnawing hunger spam also doesn’t work for me. I know I could get a PvP god to do it three times, but after putting out several fireteams, I still got nothin’. I’ve been at this for hours, and I’m still nowhere. Does anyone have any advice? Also here’s a link to a separate post where people can tell me to “get gud.”

Jotunn works wonders too, this season, especially if they become too focused on the primeval and in maps with little cover

You think that’s bad. Back when it released I maxed gambit rank before seeing the servitor boss that could drop quest if you killed it. I’m not sure what they did since then but it spawns with about 10000% the frequency since I have been playing again.

A player on your team can also get the team wipe and it will give you credit I did it for my friends since they hate to invade golden gun does wonders

I can name at least 10 more guns that you'll have better luck with than DARCI. Truth being one of them.

leviathans breath, izanagi's burden, truth, sleeper simulant, and colony can all help a lot with invading. i'd say i'll help but i'm very inconsistent, one game i can get 20 guardian kils while invadng the next only 5. but these weapons are the easy way out of the quest so try em out if you can.

Basically spawn in and rotate round the outside of the map. Use hammerhead/Thunderbird- keep moving

Arcstrider? Darci? I would use golden gun and 1k/jotuun/sleeper/queens breaker or something like that.

If so use that or Truth.. not DARCI Use Goldengun or Blade Barrage A sniper makes a good special.. you are invading so don't worry about boss DPS Use a heavy ammo finder mod. Try to invade during the prime evil phase.. teams tend to group up. Use the environment. You can see them, they can't see you. Just keep after it, you will get it eventually.

1 ReplyWonder why it was only mentioned once so far.. Colony! Easiest Teamwipe I had. Just need to get a hold on some heavy ammo. You spam the nades in their direction, even better when they cuddled up for boss damage.. the homing nades do the rest. In case someone survives, follow up with a super.

You can do it yourself or get a teammate to do it 3 times. When I first started that bit of the quest a random teammate got one for me, I thought "hey this won't take long". But after a fair few more games I decided to start invading myself, after a couple more games I did it twice in the same match! Read the other posts, pick an OP weapon and super from their list that suits you, hog the heavy ammo spawns and keep trying. You'll get it.

1 ReplyIIRC it also counts if your teammate(s) do it, but it takes 4 wipes versus 1. Good news is all 4 do not need to be in one match.

I actually had a guy message me one day asking if we could let him wipe us once for it. We agreed and just stood there when he invaded. His teammates saw no mercy from us though when they came in though. Lol

I know I’m a day late and a dollar short in completing the quest and the gun will be left behind as far as power level goes in the future, but I wanted to take a stab at trying to get it anyway. It also doesn’t help that I suck at PvP. Oh and P.S. I think use Truth for that portion of the quest you are describing.

I'm the absolute most middle of the road PvP player there is, something like a .99 K/D, so just a hair over the absolute median and what I've done for that is Gambit Prime and invade with the Xenophage. If you get lucky and they're in damage phase you may get all 4 in the pool and they're sitting ducks. In one match I got 2 Army of Ones because when you get the first kill the splash damage will make all 3 of the others able to be one tapped. Maybe not the best strat, but it's one that works pretty well right now.

It’s legit not that hard to do. If you wanna be cancerous just use truth. Others get someone who’s good at invading and have them wipe the team 3 times
