I do not hate on people for playing with their friends and running pre-made teams. That is the point of a multiplayer game, but not everyone has the benefit of running pre-made teams all the time. It would be nice if we could get a freelance version. Please Bungie, make it happen.
Edit Note: It was brought to my attention that "stacked" was an incorrect term to describe what solo players are running into. I changed the wording to "pre-made team" to correct this oversight.

1 ReplyIron Banner is supposed to be team-centric. That’s how it was introduced to us anyway. Obviously still accessible to solo players but at their own peril. Now, I haven’t played this game in a while so maybe Bungie announced its solo friendly now - I don’t know... CBMM changes and cheating seem to be huge issues causing more suffering to solos these days resulting an increase of rage posts. How are the bounties now? Rewarding enough to suffer solo?

Just leave when you see a pre-made team especially if you know that you have no chance.

I feel like I was doing good. Then I got stuck fighting the same -blam!-in 6 stack 3 games in a row. Exhausting

2 RepliesDon't most of the hackers creep in the freelance mode? I used to enjoy freelance survival, now going against teams is more enjoyable. Its better than having a random hacker on ur team and another on the other.
-
7 RepliesJust find a casual fireteam on here or roll solo. Its not that serious where we need to break iron banner into two and increase queue times.
-
8 RepliesNah. With all the complaints about buggy connections the last thing we need is parallel game modes eating up more speed and stability. Get a team. It’s a team game. Get one or deal with it. All these years solo, I’ve never felt the urge to whine about pvp teams...
-
3 RepliesStill can't believe dumb ass players keep complaining about how hard other players play. Everybody want to win. What do u want to do stomp on others every game? U can't put a difficulty on real human players .it's sad.
-
3 RepliesBecause it's fun to run into a team of rushing trials emblems . That's a great experience for ib!
-
2 RepliesWould be nice not having to come across Captain Sweatyballs and his crew of basement dwellers.
-
they stopped listening to players and do what they want.... you play their game, it will never change. all the old issues about so many things im tired of even trying to write down persist since launch. just buy more stuff from eververse for silver, because you will never get 15k dust for a piece in 1 month , since they removed the ability to get it for normal players who dont do bounty farm 24/7
-
because they want to make a monotonous recycled pve mmo game and they don't concentrate on pvp. fact. Also because they listen to youtubers and streamers and then create uber sweaty unrewarding game modes like trials and the current iron banner.

1 Replythere should be a freelance playlist for all pvp activities. Give some loot incentives if bungie wants us to play with stacks. Solos should only be filling out groups not going up against them.
-
2 RepliesJust say it how it is, man. It suxx playing the sweaty stacks and people like us need ages to get the pinnacle bounties done whereas these guys do it in one game. All the mercy calls and that ... it’s just the most unpleasant waste of time in the game.
-
If I see it jump from searching for guardians 1/12 to 7/12, I’m out.
-
1 ReplyIf I see a team of six -- it's a stack because I'm not checking their stats to see if they're actually good or just playing together. If I run with five friends -- we're a stack even though my k/d sucks because we have one clear advantage -- communication.

How about you get some friends 🥱💀💯

2 RepliesEdited by max: 8/5/2020 12:35:49 PM
because IB is considered endgame PvP, like Trials is.
because apparently IB has become an end activity and logic is a crime in 2020

2 RepliesYou do realize that with iron banner you can literally see the whole lobby you’re about to go into while it is matchmaking right so if you open your menu and look at the roster and you see a 4-6 stack just restart matchmaking. It astounds me people don’t know about this... 🤷♂️

5 RepliesHas freelance ever fixed the issues? There’s always been folk cheating their way into teams in Rumble Fixing the appalling CBMM, ancient 30Hz/10Hz server tick rate, scrapping the P2P & F2P & then fighting the increasing amount of hacks/cheats/modded controllers/3rd party devices would be a start
-
6 RepliesFreelance will not fix the issue

1 ReplyI generally agree with not playing against 6 stacks. However, I had some tough but rewarding games against clans in groups of three with me as a single player and I usually had another fireteam if 2 or 3 in my team. Might be a good compromise. Can't make fireteams bigger than 3 players in endgame pvp? Or maybe just 6v6 in general?

My experience with Iron Banner is that the first half of the week there are many stacked teams grinding out the bounties. The second half of the week all those teams are done with the bounties and there are a lot more people playing solo.
-
2 RepliesJust hover over the roster while you’re queuing in IB and you can see everyone who is in the queue with you. If you match up against a team, you can just back out and re-queue. Not many people know about this—mostly because it only works for IB MM—but it certainly can help make your experience better. Hope this helps.

Lmao also I just realized how everyone was saying that the last IB shattered population records and was the most successful ever. But then they scoff the idea of a freelance playlist because it'll make the pools too small and the queues too long. Hmmmmmm, which is the lie?? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
