Bring back Lance and Shatter for Nova Bomb
Both Cataclysm and Vortex are sluggish suicide abilities and are not nearly as fun and satisfying to use as Shatter and Lance.

4 RepliesThis....and the fact that so many NPCs can LITERALLY dodge rockets are the two biggest complaints I have about D2 game play. I fired a Bad Omen rocket at a Hive Knight yesterday from mid-range, and had him simply DODGE the thing. Fired one at a Taken a few minutes later only to have them teleport out of the way. I don't understand why Bungie leaves entire weapon classes in the game, when they are doing everything possible to discourage people from actually using. What a colossal waste of time and limited resources.

Is it just me or should the devour subclass is about becoming and throwing black holes at people..... Why IS THERE NO PULL INTO OUR VORTEXES literally i understand that devour is a really good neutral game but jesus give more to work with then just NOM SHOOT REPEAT

1 ReplyVortex should actually suck people into the epicenter like it's one of those Chieftan Arc leashes. Lance would be a nice addition to this. Catalcysm should lose the seekers honestly; buff the main bomb's damage to compensate. Half of the time the seekers don't properly track and just fall to the ground like cheap fireworks, notably if the enemy was finished from the initial explosion; hitting someone too close doesn't even spawn them in either, wasting damage output. Its tracking should simply prioritize whatever was in your crosshair when you launched the bomb instead of targeting the nearest trash ad that bolted across the screen. Imo Skull of Dire Ahamkara should just be reworked to fire Shatter Novas.

7 RepliesHonestly Lance should be on Attunement of Hunger. It would diversify the 2 trees to make one that's slow and methodical while the other is fast paced with high risk high reward. Although if Bungie is true to their word and there'll be a major subclass rework in Y4 to be like the D1 trees then we could get those perks back. If they do rework the subclasses then I hope they bring back some old D1 subclass perks. Like Combustion on the Gunslinger tree or Viking Funeral on Sunsinger. Viking Funeral would be busted with Sunbracers. And Combustion would pair very well with Six Shooter Golden Gun.

I miss running Obsidian Mind/Bad Juju combo and rain down vortex novas every 30 seconds or less. Especially during void burn nightfall. Sadly, vortex isn't what it once was and no more OM :(

Yes ! They do need to bring back shatter, it was sooo much more fun to use in pve. D2 viodwalker is a freaking joke.
