Hi,
I played against a known streamer yesterday and he accused me of cheating while he was streaming. He also mentioned on stream that he got subscribers from Middle East (my region) and according to his subscriber since destiny went to steam there is "crazy cheaters problem in that community and everyone cheats". I admit there are cheaters in my region but at the same time Aztekcross made a youtube video that he is fed up with cheaters and he is from North America. It's not a particular problem with my region/community.
I'm wondering if accusing people of cheating while streaming and tagging a certain community as cheaters is in violation of Bungie Code of Conduct. I have a link to his stream.

3 RepliesAfter panduh turned out to be a cheater I have 0 respect for other trials streamers because most likely they are also cheating. Especially azto boy is for real cheating.
-
1 ReplyStreaming on destiny.. He probably has 2 active viewers following him. Don't worry about it 👍😉
-
2 RepliesDon't most streamers scream "cheater" when someone kills them?
-
3 Repliesi hope you have a clip / proof of it , use it and report him for personal attacks and false accusation to bungie and twitch (or wherever he streams) , also post that on social media and tag the soecial media presence of bungie and twitch cancel him

This is why streamers are so scummy if anything happens they don’t like they mobilise their fans to go after people... and in this case an entire group of people......
-
Meh people get accused of cheating regularly, nothing ever happens most of the time.
-
Don’t support streamers by even watching them. They will be the death of gaming.
-
1 ReplyReport for via standard means witch hunting, harassment and such No matter how many followers they have, they can’t use their platform like that Though, should you actually be cheating, hope you get your IP banned and your account deleted
-
This is unacceptable in our community.. Whoever this streamer is, bungie must take action against him. Witch hunting ends careers.
-
As a middle eastern I consider this rude and unacceptable in our community! I hope bungie can look into this matter.

1 ReplyYou can’t be banned but it is annoying. This is the one thing I will side with the forum goers on when it comes to hating on streamers. If you are streaming to hundreds, thousands of people the stuff you say holds a lot of weight. They are leading a mob who will do or believe whatever they say, and when they call someone a cheater it can seriously damage the person accused. A friend of mine matched Gernader jake in trials on cauldron a few months ago and hit a really nice jumpshot on him. Jake said it was extremely suspicious, checked his steam profile his trials report thoroughly inspected his character etc. Over one jumpshot. He kept hitting snipes consistently throughout the game and in the last round sniped jake out of spectral blades, to which jake replied with “Yeah the [redacted] guy is cheating. He is a cheater.” then reported him and asked his teammates to do the same. But these were snipes that any good player can hit. Jake himself has hit crazier snipes. But he’s the streamer, and no one is allowed to be better than him. If they are better they’re cheating. It’s dumb. So my friend then got a dozen people adding him on steam to call him a cheater, saying he’s going to get banned, saying hurtful stuff, genuinely harassing him. Because a streamer live to 800 people was upset that he got spit on. It’s pathetic. Streamers know that people will puppet anything they say or do so when they call someone a cheater they should know that it is not something you should just say whenever you die.

If you weren’t cheating, who cares?? He just comes off sounding petty and vindictive.
-
1 ReplyReport him to twitch for hate speech. I’ve gotten a streamer banned for awhile doing it
-
I get accused of being a cheater all the time and have been since I was on console. if you’re a legit player then just take it as a compliment.
-
4 RepliesWhile I understand your frustration at being called a cheater, this didn't transcend into anything. He's just looking like a complete asshole for calling someone a cheater when you're not. However if for whatever reason you're feeling this strongly about this situation, I'd recommend doing this through the appropiate channels and not making it public on the forums.
-
2 RepliesIf you're not cheating, then there's no issue.
-
Tbh bungie just doesnt care bout anything.
-
Streamers accuse people of cheating all the time. Get over it.

Edited by Cal: 8/4/2020 7:46:21 PMTrying to get your Karen on I see. Lol You want to talk to the Bungie manager about your complaint🤣
-
10 RepliesStreamers are pretty much public figures in my opinion, and if they accuse you of cheating on stream when you are not, that should be the same as naming and shaming. Maybe report them to their streaming platform?
-
4 RepliesNot if it is on twitch or YouTube. Bungie has no say what you can say on those platforms. If you name and shame here on their forum yeah they can ban people from forum use.
-
report to bungie and the streaming platform. public accusations are not taken lightly .
-
3 RepliesI'm gonna guess it's WishYouLuckk because that guy is the cúntiest cúnt to ever cúnt

Edited by BloodS1ay3r: 8/4/2020 6:48:06 AMId report them. Dont shame them here or you'll be accosted by Ninjas.
