Golden gun shouldn't have damage fall off.
Either remove damage fall off or give the super more health so it doesn't die so easily. Damage fall off on a Golden Gun thematically doesn't make sense and is just plain frustrating gameplay wise. Balance wise I understand the super itself dying super fast compared to other supers, but damage fall off is uncalled for in that case. It needs one or the other. Not both.

Yeah six shooter was really removed from being useful when they put in the drop off. It has awful aim assist now and if you’re more than like ten feet from an enemy it takes two shots to kill someone not in their super. At least give it damage resistance if you’re going to demand they be in shotgun range of enemies to kill.

If there's ANY buff the goldy needs, It's how long it lasts, as a hunter main I cringed getting one shots across the map with the six shooter. Something about it felt inherently wrong.

5 RepliesThe 3-shot Golden Gun doesn't have damage falloff. And they also increased its aim assist, so the super almost aims itself. As for the 6-shot Golden Gun, Bungie already said that it's meant to be a close-medium range add clear super, and that's why they added damage falloff to it.

I usually just use Nighthawk with bottom tree . I prefer bottom tree in general if PvE but if PvP I usually top tree spam 😛

4 RepliesEdited by Lich: 8/3/2020 5:00:37 PMyou want range use 3 shot you want medium range use 6 six shoot. bungie implemented this to give a reason to pick one over the other. gg is fun its been that b way since d1 but it seems vets still don't even know how to use the super. hell you can dodge while in gg as you can with any other super hunters have. it doesn't need more health its fine as is. a point and click no travel time super shouldn't have armor nor should it last long. threes a reason why people hide as its almost un-counter able especially at medium range

3 RepliesAre you running top or bottom tree? Top tree is intended for close range add clear , while bottem is ment for long range boss damage or high health target melting. Think fusion vs sniper I do think that golden gun should increase agility and sprint speed. It does suck when you pop it and everyone runs around a corner. Especially giving that golden gun is one of the shortest supers

Personally I think it's perfect, it's risky to use if someone already has a good idea of where you are, but it's one of, if not the most dangerous PvP super in the game. Shortcomings of no extra resistance and damage falloff (on six shooter) are easy to accept when you can take out an entire team with some skill or a little luck. I've never needed more than 2 shots at any range and then you get one refunded. It doesn't need any extra strength.

Precision Golden Gun is the only one that shouldn’t have damage fall off, [b]IF[/b] and only [b]IF[/b] you land critical hits. Six Shooter Golden Gun HAS TO HAVE DAMAGE FALL OFF, one word: Gambit!
