4 RepliesEdited by michael: 8/3/2020 7:10:13 PMOnce you get to the undead settlement, the area after the second boss, look up “Chloranthy ring tutorial” and go get it. It’s a must have IMO for the later bosses and is very helpful for early/mid game. Less than 30% equip load is the fast roll, where dodging and sprinting uses the least stamina and the dodge rolls you the furthest meaning the most invincibility frames. Between 30% and 65% is normal. 65+ is the fat roll

3 RepliesRolling>blocking.

3 RepliesDon't rush through new areas. Take your sweet time with it. Play defensive against bosses and learn their tells and movements. Go on the offensive once you got it. Don't get greedy with your hits though! I've died several times from ''oh I can get a few more hits in''. Beware the fatroll. Praise the sun good sir.

Don’t fat roll Learn how to roll through attacks because blocking will get you murdered later on Don’t use Vordts Hammer Don’t play like asmongold Don’t get cocky because there is likely a boss around the corner ready to shit stomp you Learn how to parry

Got to go with the classic advice!!!
Git Gud
Just wear whatever armor looks the best. Armor means nothing if you don't get hit in the first place.

2 RepliesHm.. Nothing’s coming to mind. If you ever have any specific questions, though, feel free to ask! Good luck!

1 ReplyA lot of it depends on your plans, like casters or melee dudes. Early game, I recommend focusing on Vigor for more health. I only pumped mine up to 15, but I've read others usually go for 18 or 20. I like glass cannons. Endurance is also great for stamina and attacks, including spells for some stupid reason. Vitality pumps your equipment load which let's you wear heavier armor with more protection before you get the heavy rolls, but really, Fashion > Numbers. If you're going to be a caster, Intelligence is for Sorceries, Faith is for Miracles, and balancing both is for Pyromancy and Dark Magic. Attunement gives you more blue stuffs and more spell slots. I'm no expert tho.
