Masterwork for graviton lance broken(SOLVED)
(I got so many replies thanks a lot guys. Take away for catalyst farmers? Shadow thrall do not count)
I have been farming a high enemy spawning area (shattered throne shadow thrall area) and getting cosmology kills out the wazoo, and I’ve gained zero progress.

you can use the wish wall in the last wish raid to teleport to shuro chi, once you get to the checkpoint walk to the door, slay all the ads (thralls a few knights and a captain), jump off the edge or wait for the timer to run out and repeat. grants about 80 kills per wipe so i was able to finish about 3 catalysts in 15 minutes.

1 ReplyEdited by polishthunder85: 8/3/2020 1:30:21 PMI actually just did it last week. That and a bunch of other catalysts i've been getting lazy on. My secret is the NE spawn point of the moon. People are always spamming the activity there (Alter of despair?). Literally any time of the day i go there it's full groups just doing it over and over. The best part of it, there is so many enemies that spawn endlessly. Mostly people focus on the yellow bars that progress the event. You can just ignore them and kill the ads that pop up constantly. You help the group by adding time to the event each kill as well. Doing this method in a single week I did the following catalysts super fast: Sweet Business Telesto Graviton Lance Sunshot Borealis (this one was rough tbh, still took awhile - special ammo finder stacking helps loads) Cerebus Coldheart Crimson Darci I still have a few more to do. I stopped playing shortly after catalysts were added to the game and at the time i had gotten a ton but never finished them. I tried alot of the other methods people list and tbh this is my fav. You get lots of legendary shards doing it as well so it's win/win. If for some reason this isn't working too great for you then the lost sector right there is also great. Right at the entrance to the lost sector a ton of acolytes spawn all bunched up. You can go in, shoot a few, chain explosion them then run back toward the entrance about 15 steps, reset and rinse / repeat. It's not as fun but it's a great way to finish it off.

Edited by Ricochet 049: 8/3/2020 4:36:21 AMIt’s the pickiest one. Where you do it matters. The riven raid where you chase the witch is the best place for it. You won’t complete the encounter, just kill all the enemies, die and repeat.

1 ReplyThe catalyst is one of the longest in the game. I did it on the fly. People have made some comments below on different strategies. Just know, this is going to take an EXTREMELY EXCESSIVE amount of multikills with the explosion.

Nah its just those thralls that doesnt count for anything. Even on your masterworked weapons stats

They nerfed that farm. Do the shuro chi farm. It will take an extremely long time, like the sunshot catalyst

Those enemies don't count, unfortunately. The best Catalyst progress farms for weapons like that are either the Shuro Chi checkpoint in the Last Wish raid while using a Hunter with Tether(but you'll need a decent amount of Raid Banners), or the infinitely spawning Shadow Thrall underneath the giant green room in the Whisper mission.

8 RepliesTip.. Go to the moon and run an Alter event. Pop 1 bad guy in the head and literally everything in the spawn gets killed before they even come out. No joke. Took like 10 minutes. It's the BEST weapon for that event.

Go to kingship dock lost sector on tangle shore all the mobs clump together takes about 2 minutes for 3-4% on Cosmo kills rinse repeat

Which thrallway in shattered throne? One of them won’t count towards your catalyst.

3 RepliesThe shadow thrall in the shattered throne hallways do not count for anything. Either go to shuro chi in last wish or the underneath the green room in the whisper mission and you'll get progress.
