Most people like me don’t have that long to finish raids and since I have done mostly every thing to get good armor it’s still not as accomplishing as getting raid armor or weapons.
So why do you make raid last like 6 hours, that’s 1/4 of a day. Most people have other things to do in their life.

1 ReplyRaids are extremely short. This isn’t a raid problem, it’s either a you, a raid group, or both type of issue.

Just ran a PUGged Leviathan, doing the middle area 4 times for loot instead of the underbelly, team wiped once on boss because of Void/outside team f...ing up on Psions... 44 minutes 18 seconds. Earlier than that, did 2 x SotP which took around 1 hour, again, no speed running, just doing all encounters legit. Typical GoS, around 45 minutes. Of course it takes longer if the team doesn't have decent weapons, don't know what to do, but you can't expect the "hardest" end-game PvE content to not require even a little bit of skill or a semi decent loadout. Honestly, this is a "you" problem...

2 Repliesis this a troll post? on d2 no one raid take more than 50 minutes

Raids are short. The length is dependent on the teams skill. But I can say most of my raids are rarely that long only my garden runs because I run those with my bad team. But no raid should be 6 hours really

4 RepliesIMO the entire raiding structure is just a waste. Somewhere around 11% of all players have completed a raid. Being extremely generous that means that roughly 3/4 of the playerbase hasn't completed what i would call the "main endgame" activity. I would think that would speak volumes to the developers when planning out their next batch of content.

Edited by Snafu Gundam: 8/1/2020 11:29:49 AMBe grateful you never had to do a 22 hour GOS run. (-blam!- lfg)

Casual Garden run takes 22 minutes?
-
Raids are the longest activities but player error is what causes those 45-90 minute sessions to go 2-5+ hours.
-
They take like 70 minutes
-
GrandMasters are better any ways. Get in there.

Six hours?? Man. I tap out at 2 unless it's an extremely fun six hours. At that point, it's human error, not design.
-
Raids take about 1-2 hours to complete with a competent team. If it's taking you six hours you need a better team.
-
7 RepliesOnce you and your team know what they're doing, the longest raid takes am hour and half tops. And the shorter ones can be cleaned up in like a half hour
-
Raids don’t take that long tho If they do then someone needs to learn how to do the encounters because they clearly don’t know

Your complaining about raids when you have 3 done in total of 1 hour 30 mins in 2 different raids. 3 attempts and 0 clears. A fresh Levi takes roughly 40mins to a hour if there not brain dead players. Eater of worlds 20-30mins. Spire of stars 30mins Last wish 40mins to 1 hour 30mins Crown 40 mins Scourge 30mins to 1 hour Garden 1-2 hours. https://raid.report/xb/WolfVortex3292 here's your raid report

Whilst learning a Raid, thats about par for the course. Once you have them down, the completion times range from ~30 minutes to 1 hour. Raids are not meant to be instant gratification, they are something to be worked on.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 7/31/2020 3:37:39 PMThat is how long it takes if you or the people you play with are inexperienced. Usually it's about an hour or two if everyone is on the same page and experienced. They have public events, strikes, Gambit, lost sectors, reckoning, if you don't like all the mechanics. This is why people that want quick raids ask for people to kwtd. If they don't mind training people and have time to dedicate with help people. Did you look at any guides to speed up the learning? Solid idea if you don't have 6 hours to spend.

8 RepliesLearning and mastering the mechanics of a Raid is important, that will substantially decrease the time you need to complete a Raid. And, as a Raid usually has a weekly loot lockout, you got the entire week to complete a Raid. Take an evening of two hours or so, get together with your team, learn and master the mechanics. With my regular teams, most Raids take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the Raid.
