Getting hate messages after pvp matches
I've received hate messages after pvp matches in the past, and have received a couple as of late, anyone else experiencing this?

1 ReplyIf you get hate messages DON'T REPLY. it winds them [i][/i]up if they can't get you to start -blam!- them out. And like others have said, if you get hate it means you're a better player than them and they can't take it.

That means they’re telling you that your better then them but in a mean way. I love it when people give me hate mail. Makes me laugh every time

Only in gambit. I hate the game mode but I'm apparently good enough at invading that I get Hate mail. I just laugh it off and block thier salty butts.

If your a serious about the crucible then you must treat every hate message as a badge of honor. You can however turn off messaging in your settings. So the only way you get hate messages is through friend request and that’s a real treat lol.

7 RepliesHate mail for what? I don't send hate mail as such but I do send the odd one to really laggy players who I can't damage and ask where they're from. I can't stop myself sometimes and I know it's bungies fault (probably) but there you go. Here's the backstory though, I'm in the UK, fibre, wired, and I see a huge % of people from Russia, Japan, Middle East, and the worst internet country in Europe Italy. It's at the stage where I can guess where they're from before I click their profile. I've noticed the ones who do reply often say things like 'sorry I live in the russian mountains' or 'yes I'm in Japan, no idea why I'm playing you 7000 miles away'. Another tidbit that makes me feel justified that it isn't me, 95% of Italians I try to message have messages turned off, the ones who don't apologise for Italy's awful internet, some even say they only play destiny because other multiplayers don't let them play or kick them. Even in D1 the majority of redbars I saw, where Italian.

1 ReplyAs someone already said, block other players from sensing messages to you. I did this and I never had to deal with temper tantrum grown man or children telling me to off myself because I destroyed them on crucible.

Actium War Rig with Sweet Business. The hate mail I received cannot be repeated in polite company. He went negative in the match he played against me. I checked his activity on this app and the 4 previous matches he was top of the leaderboards. Guess I wrecked his day.
