For those players like myself who took a break from the game during season of the worthy we have missed out forever on obtaining the felwinters lie shotgun. This shotgun is in every way better and more powerful than every other shotgun in the game and it was guaranteed to come with the perfect roll that it is. Therefore it is near impossible to farm an agressive frame with that same role simply down to rng. So , in the crucible the majority of players have this weapon (as it was so easy to get at the time) and in shotgun fights are incredibly more likely to beat someone using a different shotgun due to the higher range it kills players at. I have no way of getting this gun and it's frustrating not being able to use a shotgun competitively because I know I can't beat someone with this gun using any other shotgun I can obtain. The only other secondary option that can compete is the mindbenders ambition which not only is down to rng to get the gun AND a good enough roll but also hasn't been the featured as the nightfall in months. Please bungie add the felwinters lie quest into next iron banner to give returning players a chance to compete with shotguns.
