Enhanced hc targeting costs 6 meanwhile every other enhanced primary targeting besides bows costs 3. Enhanced hc reloaded costs 5 meanwhile all other enhanced primary reloader costs 3. Enhanced hc unflinching costs 5 meanwhile every other primary besides bows costs 3. The only place it’s fair is dexterity perks but no one uses those so it doesn’t really matter. Please make mod costs more fair.

12 Repliesremove the cost for mods and just have your 4 slots and put what you want in one stat mod other mod other mod seasonal mod
-
3 RepliesIt’s because bungie knows that you can’t aim with your hand cannon
-
1 ReplyIt’s because HCs are and always have been popular, so Bungie nerfs them as much as possible to drive people to the other options.
-
1 ReplyIt is literally just glaring proof that they know they can't balance Handcannons so they just offset the cost because that is the "easier" thing for them to do vs actually fixing things.
-
1 ReplyI think that might have made it that way so you cant run enhanced hand cannon and enhanced sniper at the same time
-
7 RepliesGuns like spare and dire promise already have insanely high aim assist. If you need a targeting mod on them, your aim probably sucks anyway.
-
8 RepliesI wholeheartedly disagree. Anything that stops hands cannons permanently being meta is a good thing.

How about get rid of the mods and make the game normal again with normal perks and that’s it. Too many mods are destroying the fun.. I can kill a barrier champion faster but I can’t have that heavy ammo mod so by the time I got to the boss am out.. this goes for a lot of things and it’s getting bloody boring
-
Targeting mods are useless in pve. A little opportunity cost in pvp is ok, especially when the number of shots to kill ratio is in favor of the weapon archetype.
-
Agreed
-
Everything costs too much!
-
Agreed
-
2 RepliesThat's bungie's way of "discouraging" people from using one thing too much. HC's are popular, so we must be punished for using them.
-
Hand Cannon users are so extremely high skilled compared to everyone else. You guys should be able to use your vastly superior skills to overcome us lesser Guardians.
-
9 RepliesSorry kiddo handcannons have been meta for 5 and half years use something else. Assault rifles are finally good and y’all are crying about it when for 5 and half years y’all wanted ars to be good.
-
Weapon mods cost too much. I have no room to actually use builds when all my points get sucked into weapon mod.
-
5 RepliesEdited by juppstrunz911: 7/27/2020 7:50:08 AMAll mods cost too much and 10 is a stupid size anyway it should be 12.
-
Yep. Bungie makes using Hand Cannons costly and encourage the use of Auto rifles, which just so happen to be very strong and cost very little to use mod points
-
I mean hand cannons are very op they can one shot weak enemies and kill others in a few shots. It’s only fair they make the kids more expensive
-
7 RepliesRemove hand cannons?
-
4 RepliesIt’s simple: HC’s as an archetype get more use out of those mods than other types do. Smaller mag = reload more often = more value out of loader mods. More emphasis on landing each headshot = more value from targeting mods. Due to HC’s design, they will always see more benefit from mods that improve their stats. That justifies the increased cost compared to other guns.
-
2 RepliesYou see, Bungie has DATA, and that DATA says we like using hand cannons, and that’s not cool, not cool at all. So you will use bows.
-
Very true
-
It’s just Bungie’s shitty arbitrary energy system. They don’t like people using handcannons, so they attack them. It’s that simple.
-
They reeeeally want people to use auto rifles huh 😂 not only is it the weapon meta but the mod meta too
