Forge shader drops are a joke!
Honestly I am losing the will to live! I have played Forges non stop as I’m missing shaders for my Blacksmith seal. I have had two drop since the Season came out. TWO! I’ve done Scourge Flawless and everything else for the title and these shaders are the only thing preventing me from getting that title! Why can’t they have their drop change increased!? I’ve done nothing but Izanami forge for the last few hours hoping it would drop and still nothing! Bungie fix this!

I got mine just from deleting bad rolls on forge weapons. Honestly I don't even remember if they drop from the forges themselves.

2 RepliesGo read this about how they work and it might go faster. You have to use the right frames for each forge (other than Bergusia). I worked on that for a long time before knowing what is in that link so I thought it might help

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Rasmussen Clan, House of Meyrin, and Satou Tribe only drop with curated weapons. I got Satou Tribe from a curated raid scout if I remember correctly, and I've been trying to get the other two from forge frames but the curated drop rate is very low for them.

But it's just a purple name tag, often blasphemous, but never important. The only thing I think when I see that on someone's head is, "wow, they could have gotten a girlfriend, gotten a raise, built a new shed, but no, they chose to spend hours and hours of their actual life, languishing over a purple name tag in a videogame, only to look like a complete tool...worthy....haha...as if"

2 RepliesYou need to do the corresponding frame for each forge for the shader you drop. For the izanami forge you need to do pulse rifle or bow. (Still a shit chance at getting it too)

I received my shaders from heavy frames via Ada or curated weapon drops found in the SotP raid. Still missing some, but that’s how I’d farm the shaders if I was to find them all

Feel your frustration. RNG pain started for me with Gjallahorn in D1. Didn't have enough mats to buy from Xur🤦♂️ Finally got to enjoy for a few weeks at the very end. Still missing the Satou Shader. Even though I farmed Izanami weapons using Izanami and Bergusia forges during Guardian Games... on 3 characters. Been running Strange Terrain NF for Osprey and the Wayfarer title... For how many seasons? 11 ??? So long ago I forgot when it came out. I guess I will at least get Osprey in the Exodus quest. I still enjoy the game overall but like many I am starting to feel more and more like I am doing chores instead of playing a game. Fun - Right Now Gone

2 RepliesIt shouldn't take long to get a drop if you're doing it right. Each shader only drops from a specific forge and it can drop on more than weapons, just use a polymer for the armor drop every time and it should drop after a few runs. If you don't know the forges they're tied to here they are: Volundr- Rasmussen Clan Gofannon- House of Meyrin Izanami- Satou Tribe Bergusia Night- Only drops on curated SotP or Bergusia forge drops There's the list if you need it, if you already knew, sorry I couldn't help

Have you tried Scourge of the Past? The shaders can drop there too.

I’m missing one too. I have blacksmith though. But he’s I agree the drop rate is beyond awful.

2 RepliesShaders from the forges are connected to a specific forge. The green shader is connected to the volundr forge. The red shader is connected to gofannon. The blue shader is connected to izanami. And the purple shader is a drop from any masterworked curated weapon earned from either the forged or scourge of the past. You have to do the different forges to get the specific shaders. The best way is to buy the item from ada-1 that guarantees an armor piece after you complete a forge ignition. It’s faster and more likely then farming it out on a weapon.
