Not only a Theft of our Money but of our Content. Sad Bungie. In other news, Halo Infinite looks amazing! Can’t wait!

In other news, Halo Infinite looks amazing!
I can handle ragging on Bungie, but let's all be real here. Halo Infinite looks terrible.

Terms and Conditions say they can remove access to any content for any reason. And let's be real, who really, legitimately cares about Titan, Mercury, and Io in 2020 (Mercury is/was decent for grinding certain things, albeit Suro Chi might've overtaken it)? They haven't seen much of anything until this season, since... Year 1?

You bought a license to play certain content. They have the right to change what that entails and when, it's all in the fine print when you signed up. Infinite looks like Halo: Fortnite edition and if it wasnt on game pass I wouldn't touch it with a pyramid sized pole.

Edited by ZDragonLord X: 7/26/2020 10:12:05 PMDid you get your enjoyment out of it? Then they aren't stealing, they are renovating. You buy a house. You want a bigger bathroom. They have to move a wall. Are you going to sue them for taking that wall? Are you going to due the pool people for stealing your dirt? Are you going to sue your car company when your 180,000+ mile car finally dies? No. Things you buy change, degrade, or update. Deal with it. Edit: Upon profile inspection, you don't even play what you paid for anyway. So what do you care?

4 RepliesSince OP wants to mute me, feel free to quote this part of the license agreement he wants to ignore existing.
All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the Program and any copies thereof are owned by Bungie.
Edited by Swiftlock: 7/26/2020 8:45:59 PMSure. Now go try telling Blizzard that they stole content from you when they removed previous locations in WoW Cataclysm.

1 ReplyRead the fine print LIVE AND TIME-LIMITED GAME ELEMENTS: Your use of the Program involves interaction with Bungie’s live game environment. The Program and its live game environment change over time. Bungie does not guarantee that you will be able to participate in all events or earn all in-game achievements. Access to some Live Content may require additional purchase. Some in-game elements, including without limitation, Live Content associated with season passes, are made available to players for a limited time. Where season pass Live Content is time-limited, Bungie will use reasonable efforts to communicate this to you within the Program or otherwise. Bungie may extend the time-limit for Live Content, including season passes, at its option with or without advanced notice. Fees charged for time-limited content are based on access to the applicable content during the time period indicated at the time of purchase, and apply whether or not you actually access the content. Season pass rewards earned during a given season must be redeemed during that season, unless Bungie elects to provide a grace period for redemption in its sole discretion. OWNERSHIP: All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the Program and any copies thereof are owned by Bungie. This Program is protected by the copyright laws of the United States, international copyright treaties, and conventions and other laws. This Program contains certain licensed materials, and Bungie’s licensors may protect their rights in the event of any violation of this Agreement.

2 RepliesYeah man, it's so annoying that they take all that content away. I mean who doesn't like areas like Mars... Mercury... Oh wait. But the Strikes, great strikes like A Garden Wo- Actually, thank -blam!- for that shit not being Flashpoints and Strikes anymore.
-
1 ReplyWow, you just made me realize that if someone gets a 2nd hand copy of D2 and puts it into the console, after the expiration date of old content, what is it gonna display??
-
I really think we will be okay without 3 of the smallest patrol areas in the game.

3 RepliesHalo Infinite looked trash lmao see ya November

6 RepliesIt's not theft. You only own a licence to play the content you DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS to that content so you cannot do anything about it
