Season Pass Should Offer Silver as a reward
I'm not asking for a ton of silver, but maybe 100 here another 100 somewhere else. I think it could replace some of the lesser recieved rewards such as exotic engrams, legendary shards, raid banners, etc.
Edit: after reading some comment here are some common themes.
• Raid Banners, Legendary Shards, Planetary Materials seem to be the least favorite of the rewards.
• The rewards after 100+ should feel more engaging or there should be more of them.
• Other games with a game pass offer the equivalent of silver in their game so why can't Destiny?
Hopefully Bungie "listens" to these suggestions to better improve the Season Pass.

Maybe it's already been mentioned, but I know Modern Warfare gives enough (and then some) CoD Points (equivalent to Silver) to pay for the battle pass, and I believe Warframe awards Platinum and/or items that have to be bought with Platinum in their pass. (I'm not 100% on Warframe though, it's been a while since I've played it.)

What happened to once we get to rank 100 there will be rewards to still chase the rank 101 102 103 and so on?

Kinda reminds me of Xbox. You play games, get achievements and earns some actual rewards that can accumulate slowly overtime which can be used for future shopping. Almost like a discount.

2 RepliesEververse would need a lot more content for that to be feasible.or the season would end up giving you like 100 silver when you hit rank 100 That'd also just end up inflating the cost of silver and maybe even the cost of the season itself to make up for lost revenue. It sounds like a good idea But bungie isn't just gonna start handing out one of its biggest money makers Just doesn't make financial sense

I like how they’ve incorporated more bright dust into the pass. I think there should be more than 100 levels on the pass. Every 10 levels after level 100 you should be able to earn like 100 silver in the paid version of the pass. Then like every 15 or 20 would give you 100 on the free pass.

Im pretty sure the season pass is one of Bungies main source of income post annual dlc. Plus its only $10 per 3-4 months. Also 90% of eververse items you can get from grinding in game..

Owning the season gives you the season pass so you don't just get a tiny ass battle pass like you would in literally any other game. If they were to give 1000 silver back like other titles then it would be an infinite cycle of spending earned silver rather than paying for 4 months of content. It amazes me how entitled people in this community are🤔

Hell playing cod and fortnite (in both games) I was able to save cp and v bucks(I know I'm an idiot, but I play with my nephew so...kill me) and get the next BPs, if I wanted, because of the currencies I accumulated from those BPs. Bungie could do the same.

Is it outrageous? Other games let you reclaim the cost of the battle pass through normal gameplay. They should give us something in return!

I might even keep playing next season with that. But in all seriousness, they have the "in game equivalent" to Silver of Bright Dust in the Seasonal Rank rewards, so I doubt they would add the purchased currency.

Should be doable without too much of a problem, but oh well, apparently activision wasn't the bad one in that regard.

Every other game that has a pass offers you enough of their premium currency to purchase the following seasons' pass if you max out its rank. It sets up the FOMO of playing the game long enough within the season to where you won't have to pay a second time. Destiny has [i]plenty[/i] of items in the Eververse store. They have no shortage of ways to get money. If anything this battle pass model will encourage more silver purchases, in my opinion. Bright dust doesn't really cut it, especially when the payout increases still can't afford you an exotic emote.

Call of Dutys battle pass costs $10 and iirc you get $15 of cod points if you hit max rank (their equivalent of silver)

Warzone (ACTIVISION!) does it too. a season pass costs $ 10, but if you complete it you get $ 15 value in COD points. So you can get a new pass for “free”.

I would like some silver to go along with the new season pass for sure but perhaps at purchase of the season... you would get some 500 silver, that would be neat.
