Hey there. So me and my fiance are running on the same pc using a program called Aster. We'd both like to play Destiny 2 together, but Steam doesn't like running 2 copies at once. That's fine though, a program called Sandboxie lets me run a 2nd copy of Steam. So, 2nd copy of Steam is up through Sandboxie, and I click run on Destiny 2, and it never pops up. The "play" icon for the game goes from "Stop" to "play" without anything changing on screen.
So the question is....is there a way to get around this? Some file I could delete or some setting I could change? We're running 2 separate Steam accounts with 2 separate purchases of Destiny 2. We just can't get both copies running on our particular setup.

anti cheat does not allow destiny 2 to run in any virtual environments. To play together you need a 2nd pc

Odds are the anti-cheat is failing to initialize properly. My advice? Stop before you get yourself banned permanently.
