Icarus Dash
Why do warlocks have two class abilities?
Is it balanced, no. Are any of the other warlock subclasses even close to this level of power, no. And yet it remains in the game.
Fastest super in the game on the recovery-based class. And yet some still complain that hunter dodge is broken. Make it consume your rift energy. Make it nonspammable in dawnblade.
Dying to some brickhead who can mash B or Circle has to be more irritating than blink shotgun in Destiny 1.
If titans had garrison there would be uproar. But this is okay. Ask yourself why that is.

Lol from a hunter none the less. You have instant reload, invis, dodge every 9secs if you spec right, you have abilities that boost accuracy and stability every kill. Get real and stop making the rest of the hunters look bad.

24 RepliesIcarus Dash is not an offensive maneuver. If you let someone dash in your face then you deserve to become kill XP. It isnt even as good as Hunter dodge which adds damage reduction and health regen with wormhusk AND breaks aim assist. Leave us alone. We lost Nova Warp, Handheld supernova, Storm trance is trash, Chaos Reacharound is trash and all we have are fancy dashes and a super that occasional makes us crash into walls.

Hunter is worse. All three classes have a ranged melee, including one that fools radar somehow. Reload on all dodges and go invisible on some. I wear the chest piece to get 2 fusion grenades so you'd really not like me. The super isn't good, and i really prefer the bottom one even with all the other things.

Does it break aim assist? If not then it's perfectly fine.

1 ReplyDodge+ invisible+ reload weapon every nine seconds then double or triple jump and repeat. Extremely high mobility and if you have high recovery, rip. Poor hunters. Icarus Warlocks have to two hit sometimes but complain about spam... The super goes out quickly if they do it. As a warlock main it's a super sometimes I laugh at when they pop it because it has it's big weaknesses. But continue on with warlocks having something that isn't complete dog turds while normally always being a freakin' balloon in the wind otherwise. (Not including blink) Oh yeah... We have rift that's not very useful unless you're already out of combat.... Ooooo scary... Suuuuppper effective.

Oh course it's a hunter, the most powerful class in the game for pvp whining about warlocks, the weakest class in the game for pvp. As if you snot nosed children didn't get enough taken from us already. 🖕

Technically I think you should only be able to icarus dash once, as with any evasion ability, but using this as a jumping off point to argue Hunter dodge isn’t broken? Yeah, don’t. Lol

Dude please...walrocks are the worse PvP class hands down. Trash exotics are needed to balance the class out instead of adding anything useful. Please go put your big boy underwear on with Spiderman on the butt grab your applesauce from the counter on the way back to your racecar bed.

18 RepliesEdited by Infamous067: 7/22/2020 7:59:47 PMIts not as bad as twilight garrison because 1: its on literally just one class and only one path, that makes it unique on its own. 2: twilight garrison could be used for all subclasses and could still shoulder charge to get a free kill, pair that shoulder charge boost with the garrison and titans were even faster than warlocks are right now with a free one shot melee at their disposal. 3: its the only viable or competitive warlock class left since bungie refuses to buff the other subclasses. When was the last time you ever saw a nova warp? I rarely see stormcallers too and all for good reason, they are too niche or straight up suck.

3 RepliesI can't speak for all the warlocks but i'll trade you my icarus dash for your hunter invisibility if you like. When i drop my rift it reloads my guns or makes me invis... or i can use my melee to become invisible. I'd be cool with that. Invisible Nova Bombs sounds fun.

17 Repliesthe reason why warlocks get icarus dash is because all icarus dash does is a dodge. hunter dodge can do a lot more things like healing in the middle of fights, reloading, increasing your mobility, making you invis, etc. that's why people complain about hunter dodge, it's not the action of dodging itself, it's what else it does in addition to the dodge > Are any of the other warlock subclasses even close to this level of power, no. this should tell you that warlocks need buffs, not "nerf the only viable pvp option for a subclass"
