I did a poll not too long ago and people want random drops. it looks like all the old exotics are going to have quests instead of it dropping randomly in a nightfall or any other activity. quests make everything predictable and boring. if exotics dropped randomly it adds to the fun and keeps you pursuing. with quests it does not take long to get the gun. its too late now even if the rest of exotics where dropped randomly you tainted all of destiny 2 with waaay too many quests. i want random drops for every exotic!! it was so much fun in destiny 1 even though there where quests there are way more in destiny 2. id sunset all exotics so you have to get new version and the new version would only drop randomly. when a gun has a quest that means there are no suprises when getting a weapon. there are almost no exotics in the loot pool when the majority are all done by quests. if i was in charge ALL exotics would be random. why do that extra nightfall if you know that exotic you want WONT drop from it? all the fun is taking out. its the number one problem with destiny 2. when you get a weapon doing a activity its fun and you remember how you got that exotic but with quests its so uneventful. if i was in charge id fire all the people making quests and take all exotics away to and you only can get them randomly in the game.ok maybee not fire them just tell them to sunsett all exotics so the only viable ones will be randomly. exotics like truth which used to be random now are not. looks like hawkmoon is going to have a quest. how BORING! icebreaker let me guess quest? i will never get that feeling like in d1 when most where random and i was looking for exotics. exotics are boring because i know all the good guns are in quests no interesting drops. EXOTIC QUESTS ARE DISEASE. now i know anything that drops from the wild will be boring because all the best guns are in quests. it makes it TOO easy to get exotics instead of grinding. when you bring gally back at least make it a random drop . there is no excitement in destiny 2.
