Whenever I use shadow shot in crucible to shut down a super, I’m almost always killed by the very super that I’m trying to shut down because there is a half second period between the time that shadow shot lands and then tethers your targets. I think a simple but effective buff would be to give shadow shot a suppressing aura around it. It would then suppress anything that was within a medium distance to it. Lmk y’all’s thoughts

7 RepliesHunters don’t need any buffs, y’all crack me up. You have the best subclasses and exotic support I’ve ever seen. Mobius Quiver literally kills of it hits, and you get like 5 shots. Hunters are for dads

Edited by mikeyrox1234: 7/21/2020 7:15:02 AMMy Proposal: - Shadow-shot no longer has an activation delay (as soon as the arrow hit a surface it will begin to tether anyone in range) - Shadow-shot no longer appears on radar and it slightly less noticeable - Shadow-shot now 100% suppresses on impact

Just give up man. Asking for a buff to anything that has to with Hunters is just a no go around here. It could be a pure PvE buff and people would still be against it.

1 ReplyTether is not a panic button. You fire it BEFORE enemies rush up to you, not during. A tether buff should make it more effective at being a trap and area denial tool, not something you use aggressively when an enemy is up in your face. Hunters have the best neutral game in D2. In exchange, a lot of their supers aren't simple to use. That's how balancing works.

I think the only thing that can make non hunter mains not get mad is to have the arrow shoot directly down the crosser rather than slightly to the right(CoolGuy made a video on tether if you want to learn more)

4 RepliesShadow shot is an anticipatory super, not reactionary, meaning it has a setting time. Do not use it to counter a super that is right in front of you, use it to cut off your opponents and to make them have to react to your careful planning. A proper buff would be more reliable tracking as well as a faster trigger time after you have allowed the trap to set.
