Cross save unable to unlink a steam account
If anyone can help me out, please do I’m at my wits end. I linked the wrong steam account with my ps4, I tried to unlink them next. Then I got an error code that forced me to wait 90 days to be able to link another account. The 90 days have been up, now the ps4 and the old steam account still appear to be linked, but the unlink tab is not clickable. It won’t let me unlink the old steam account from my ps4. I waited 90 days just to unlink and now the tab won’t perform any function once I click on it. To make matters worse there is another error on my ps4 account that won’t let me perform any functions because it says I purchased silver and must wait 33 days. I have not purchased any silver. Bungie has this cross save feature completely out of whack and has been nothing but hell. I missed the opportunity to play on pc for the entire last season, now I have a feeling that the same will happen going forward. Even tho I had to purchase the entire game and seasons on pc just to link it to my ps4 and now I can’t.

It is intentional, not an error, that players are required to wait 90 days after disabling Cross Save to be able to activate it again. It's also intentional you can't disable it if you've purchased any Silver and you can't unlink accounts while Cross Save is active. These steps are to fight against bad actors from doing things like account recoveries. You can try contacting Bungie to see if they will lift the remaining 33 days so you can disable by using the contact form on this page: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099 Once your security lockout is over and you disable Cross Save, log into your profile with your PS4 account and go to your profile Settings > Accounts & Linking and click on the Unlink button next to the Steam account. You'll be asked to authenticate the account by entering the login credentials. After unlinking the account, the button will change to say Link. Click it again and enter your login for the Steam account you want. You will then be able to reactivate Cross Save after waiting 90 days.
