Spectral Blades should have zero Damage Resistance

This super is ridiculously OP, it does far too many things at once... Superspeed Invisibility/radar invis Spammable Wall Hack Damage resistance Its too much! Striker was nerfed due to doing too many things at once and this needs to be hit again as well. Removing all DR might give people a chance to kill the invis b1tches on their way in! Yes I am a salty biased titan but my shit KEEPS getting hit so its time the Hunters felt the pain as well! Also nerf Stompees!

  • I can't believe we've circled right back to the roaming supers being complete tanks that don't require any timing whatsoever. I feel like they could have gotten a buff without them turning into the end all be all of pvp. Spectral is bad but so is every single titan roaming super and stormcaller and arcstrider. These supers where in control you can kill three people on one zone and then proceed to go to another zone and still be in your super while taking damage the entire time are just stupid. It just starts to feel like PvP is balanced around what super you pick. And I just want to add that it is completely ridiculous that 80% of the time neither blade barrage nor golden gun can kill people out of their roaming supers.

    They nerfed it several times.. Stop it If youre on console fov is to blame not stompees

  • All roaming supers need to have negative incentives from spamming them, mainly from misses. This would incentivize more strategic play/add more worth to the super itself.

    Hunter class is the main reason why PVP so unbalanced and broken Titans had 2 Exotics that were busted and Nerf, hunter as a character in general is busted and needs a Nerf, long lasting supers that tank every other super, fast ability regen time don't let me even get started on the Exotics

  • The spammability is the problem It does the same amount of damage as a super like nova warp, except you can get off 5 attacks before nova warp can do 1 And even with the spamming, it lasts WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long.

    • Yeah it's pretty good but EVERY SINGLE CLASS can just run away from it, it is not superspeed your probs just doing what most people do where you here it get casted and run the other way when the spectral wanted you to do exactly that and was never coming from the directiom you thought it was. Not to mention you can 1 hit it with a sniper anyways. Just practice more my dude :)

Invisibility? You mean turning into a purple mist figure, that leaves a trail? The only thing good about “invisibility” is that it takes you off the radar. If it didn’t then there would be no stealth factor at all. Spammable? Almost every roaming super is spammable. Are you saying we should nerf Striker and Sentinel? They’re spammable too. Wall hacks. Wall hacks are great...when you have ranged attacks, however they’re wasted on a melee super. You can still benefit from them but they don’t make a major difference. Damage resistance. Spectral has both low and high damage resistance. When invisible it has high damage resistance, when it’s not it has low damage resistance. Not to mention that the even the high damage resistance isn’t that hard to kill. I literally kill them with primaries. Seems fine to me, however I wouldn’t mind if it got reduced. If you wanna nerf Spectral’s damage resistance, that fine. However it would need to have [b]actual[/b] invisibility to make up for it. Not a great trade off imo. I’d rather deal with slight higher damage resistance than not seeing my enemy at all. Anyone can make a class sound OP. For example Sentinel has: “Superspeed” A shield to block with Tracking ricochet range attack Spammable Damage resistance That sounds OP, but in actual gameplay it’s really not.

        • It can easily be outran unless they are spamming the light attack, making the super last a shorter amount of time. Not like FoH runs faster and is just as good anyway

            • What you’re confusing as super speed is that super crazy good lunge. I’ve out run a Spectral Blade user on my Warlock lol. But when you get into the air? LUNGE and you’re dead.

            • Lol. Spectral does not increase speed. Bottom FoH is just as spammable and regains all health on every kill and increases speed. Spectral resist while spamming is the same as striker. And you are not invisible. you are a purple blob...easy to see. Even if you were invisible...not like it matters when aim assist works on invisible targets .

                Nah but it certainly shouldnt have the most damage reduction in the game... that should go to Sentinels 😎

                • Shoulder charge is bull should that be nerfed? If a titan is anywhere near close range a hunter meele always loses. I lose my shit when getting shoulder charged but hey it is what it is. I don't even play spectral blades when I play hunter so don't really care if it is nerfed but there are many things one could say need to be nerfed. Each class has a perk that is better than another. I love punching with my titan but movement is so much better on hunter. Not one class can have everything. Each needs their own niche to make them different and unique.
