Ehy sledge =) Your frustration is comprensible and shared by many other players. You are not the only one who's asking [i](and asked!)[/i] for a system that allows players to choice which kind of MM to prefer, or different playlist with different rules, MM preferences ecc. However, reality is that this story goes on since... well, always I'm afraid. It's been years and Bungie didn't nothing. I can't tell if they didn't take action because they don't want do it, or because they can't. Through the years, Bungie simply swapped SBMM and CBMM after a certain ammount of time and I suppose they will continue to do so in the future. Or maybe with the arrive on the Next Console Generation something will change, but I wouldn't put my money on that. Which means that we all must deal with this reality and regulate ourselves of consequence. If CBMM isn't working for you, you might limitate your time into the Crucible in order to avoid stress, maybe just completing those Matches and Bounties you need every week for the Mile Stone. If you don't need them and you don't care, you could also simply stop playing it, but of course this is something obvious [i](no, I'm not trying to be toxic telling you to don't play the game you enjoy playing. My apologize if I gave you this impression)[/i]. Even better, if you enjoy PvE Activities, just focus on them, maybe try to catch up with things left back like Catalysts or similar... I know that this answer isn't solving the problem, but I hope it may help you somehow.

If you want your pinnacle play elimination or comp they are SBMM. If enough of us quit playing, Bungie will take notice, and maybe make a change. What we need is a choice of either SBMM or CBMM. If you want SBMM back boycott crucible. Tell your friends to spead the word.

One can easily turn this the other way around and ask how is your money worth more than others, when under SBMM above average players often have to deal with constant lag issues and poor hit detection because the game cannot find enough worthy opponents in the same region as them, and has to create cross-continent or even multicontinent lobbies instead. They could add a 6v6 playlist with SBMM (although i personally don’t think its necessary), but if they do this they also need reduce the overall amount of playlists so that all of them are populated enough.

There was last 3 seasons but the CBMM was a hot mess of sweaty tryhards from what I've heard. See what happens next season when player numbers should jump alot. And if consoles get crossplay next gen like the rumours suggest.

Yes your money is lesser in comparison to the free advertising that streamers will give for the game. And very loud voices say “crucible is fun now” people will listen. Bungie gave you 2 modes elimination and survival don’t worry they still have training wheels for you
