You know, like in lore if there was an accident or something and a persons ghost was accidentally destroyed or something. I'll say that person who accidentally committed it must feel like shit.

Yes actually, some died when the Red Legion took the Traveller and in the lore tabs of the Trials weapons we see a guardian using corrupted void light to torture and permanently kill a guardian. Not to mention the large amount Dredgen Yor killed with Thorn. Final deaths are not allowed in the Crucible but sadly they do happen and a lot happened during the beginning of the Red War because the severing of the Light was so sudden.

Certainly! Ikora was almost one of them as well.

Hasn’t Red Death for real killed Guardians?
-
10 RepliesYes. Three of note: Thalor and Pahanin were killed by notorious guardian killer Dredgen Yor. Another death is of an unnamed guardian who died during a trials match. The guardian died just as the Traveler was caged during the Red War. The Lighthouse made a chime that Vance was listening for. He called off the match as the Red War began. There are definitely more, cases. Both accidental and intentional.

4 RepliesEdited by Grim: 7/14/2020 8:42:45 PMSupposedly during the red war when all guardians lost there light at once a few in crucible died their final death I think it tells the story in the trials lore books but other than that the ghost can't be harmed by normal weapons it has to be a darkness based weapon like the thorn bullet that killed cayde-6's ghost so you won't find alot of lore about accidental death of a guardians ghost their a little tougher than that.

Oh definitely. There are probably lore cards about it, but I haven’t seen them.
