Why is a weapon so powerful you see it in every match, i hate this weapon and see it used by honestly see it in every match and it's strength is as great as pre-nerf hard light so please knock this weapon down a peg! Edit this is my opinion so don't get your outbreak in a twist im just sharing my thoughts.

6 RepliesAll autos need nerf. Bring back hand cannon meta
-
nerf it in pvp. dont touch it in pve.
-
1 ReplyNerf aim assist and mag size, that’s all it needs. My gnawing hunger has 51 rounds in the mag which is absolutely ridiculous.
-
1 ReplyHand cannons:meta since the release of house of wolves Autos about a month after there buff: NERF THEM NOW

2 RepliesEdited by Vexx: 7/12/2020 4:20:05 AMMaybe try something like a high impact pulse. Vigilance Wing is being slept on a LOT right now, if one burst is all crits then the next burst can be all body and it will kill. With only 50% of your shots being crits this gun has an amazing TTK. Not to mention if any team mate dies within around 15m of you then you get a free health regen. If you don't like how the gun handles, or you are good at getting headshots, then try the cold denial. Easy to farm a good roll for, has nice sight, and can roll headseeker if you arent good at getting headshots. Just maybe try these weapons out and play smarter. Inside an auto rifle meta these guns are both fantastic at lane control. Sit back and pop some heads, stay behind your team. Aim to control the longer lanes on each map instead of bum rushing into auto range. Fire bursts from cover, popping in and out if you have to. If longer range isn't your thing then you could try thorn. A great weapon to pop in and out of cover with and also leads to you even getting kills + assists after you have died. I agree with nearly everyone else here in saying that 600rpm auto's are the problem, not gnawing hunger. It doesn't matter how easy it is to get or not. Forgotten path and suros are both just as good, if not better. The game has been a handcannon meta for the past 2 years and it's nice to have a change, i will admit that i'm tired of it already though, but it will pass, nerfing gnawing hunger isn't the answer to your frustrations. You will just get killed more often by suros + path and then ask for those to be nerfed also.

Edited by Corrick II: 7/12/2020 3:25:43 AMThere are other viable autos, everyone just goes with gnawing hunger because it’s what people hear is good and you can farm it through the engrams. Why bother trying something else that is just as good, it’s six in one, half dozen in the other. I use Age Old Bond and it works just fine, no one asks to nerf that.
-
8 RepliesIt doesn't need a Nerf, it just seems like it because everyone's using it,
-
3 RepliesJust nerf 600 autos already
-
3 RepliesYou’re only noticing it because it’s a 600 RPM that’s easily available because of engrams. It was this good last season but people didn’t know because it required Reckoning.
-
5 RepliesThey are tuning 600 autos
-
It aboslutely is not prenerf Hardlight power. It is not. But 600 autos are a problem none the less. And Suros absolutely is a problem too.

4 RepliesEdited by Quiet_Bushi: 7/11/2020 8:35:58 AMDestiny 2 PvP is always been like that =) there is always been one or two weapons much stronger (or broken) then all the others for even a couple of Seasons. And it will be like this even in the future. It is its own intrisic nature, there is really nothing to do about it. PvP is impossible to balance at 100%. The number of variables to keep in check are too many to offer this kind of experience to the players. If you are a dedicated PvP player the only thing you can do is accept it and adapt. If you're not, just try to have the more fun you can in the few matches you play every week and then leave the Crucible (which is what I do, for example).

1 ReplyGnawing hunger is good but it's not as good as I thought it would be. It's like the 7th or 8th best auto. Suros, hardlight, galliard, valkyden, forward path, summoner, montecarlo and then the 600/720 raid autos (I don't know their names) are all better.
-
It needs looked at, but it’s merely overused
-
2 RepliesThe problem is not gnawing hunger. It is the 600 RPM buff. Gnawing was never good before that buff and it has been out since season of the drifter.
-
3 RepliesThere are 5 other AR's that perform just as well, if not better than Gnawing.
-
23 RepliesIt’s no more powerful than the other 600 rpm auto rifles like summoner or galliard this is just the easiest one to get. And suros is way better just exotic
-
It's all 600 autos, not just gnawing hunger, gh is just easiest to farm
-
15 Replies
why is a weapon so powerful you see it in every match
Nobody was throwing this kind of a fit about Spare Rations. Or literally every other 150.
-
1 ReplyYou only see it everywhere because it is easy to farm for not because it is OP
-
3 RepliesGet good lol
-
3 RepliesWhy is it that the vast majority of people that complain about PvP are the ones that are actually unskilled at PvP? 🧐
-
3 RepliesGnawing hunger definitely does not need a nerf... There are plenty of weapons that can counter it... You talk about it like it's mt top or jotuun...
-
3 RepliesIt will with the next meta change.... It happens all the time. If gnawing hunger is too strong, it's because you stand out in the open too much. For an auto rifle to get it's optimal ttk, the enemy has to stay out in the open. So stay near cover or make them miss to get them off the optimal ttk. PvP is all about adapting.

1 ReplyAh yes, a gun with similar damage but lacking: - Ricochet with double damage - Zero damage falloff - 100 Aim Assist and Recoil Direction Is as powerful as a weapon with that... No, frankly, 600s don't need any bombshell nerf, if any at all. You have summoned me.
