Banning people with aim bots in PVP
I am a gamer on a budget I don't have the money to buy several games or the time to play multiple games. Since year 2 of D1 I have only played destiny 1 or 2. I'm not the greatest but I enjoy playing PVP. I know when someone is using an aim bot, bc they just dont miss, they are unstoppable in almost all scenarios. The amount of ppl using aim bots is unbearable. I'm ok with losing to ppl that are just good there is always someone better out there. But I'm done. I won't play Destiny or any XBOX live games again until the policy is to hardware ban cheaters. If I dont see an indefinite policy change before my Gold membership is up I will not renew again and the xbox will go in the trash. Make a decision xbox/destiny bc I demand change, without reliability your products aren't worth buying.

If you ran up against someone that destroyed you they were likely just really good. With the removal of SBMM you are probably running into higher skilled players that you never saw before because SBMM was protecting you. Most of your kds are negative so yeah when you run into a 1.5-3.0 kd player they are probably going to seem like that. But pay attention to their movement. Very skilled players have really good movement.

7 RepliesIt's hard to cheat on console. You sure it's aim bots on Xbox? Consoles kind of cheats on lock down. On a console it's usually lag switches or ddos.

4 RepliesI really hate to do this, but you're probably just not a very good player yourself. When I first started reading your post, I figured you were on PC, where all kinds of cheating/hacking is known to be rampant. But no, you're on console, the same one as myself in fact. The one where the most common, known form of "cheating" doesn't even directly involve Destiny itself; that being DDoSing to boot people offline(and to probably a much lesser extent, lag switching). I'm sure many players seem like they're aimbotting in your experience, but I'm telling you, that's simply not the case. The only actual form of cheating that has to do with in-game performance on console Destiny is an extremely rare rapid-fire cheat, making guns fire at much faster rates than clearly intended. There's one such individual who was notorious for using it, taking years to finally get banned(at least on their main account). If you're curious as to who, DM me or just ask some longtime PvP content creator.

I noticed you use some really bad weapons which in truth yeah will make you lose most gun fights, I noticed you dont even have at least a decent build with decent stats. You mentioned you are not that good at pvp and from past history it seems you play a lot of comp? My conclusion is I don’t really think you are facing any cheaters, it just seems you are facing players that are plain better than you and you are not full equipped to even put up a fight vs better players. My suggestion? Pick up a 600rpm auto rifle and shotgun, if you want to snipe then I guess use revoker but get rid of hard light, its no longer as good as it used to be and replace it with a summoner or a decent rolled gnawing hunger.

PS4 and Xbox still allow you to SideLoad programs using USB stick. It's quite prelevent. Destiny2 each weapon besides Auto Rifles have INSANE auto Aim tho bro So u might be getting Aimbots, or they are using Aim Assured weapons and are trash. Keep your head up and go try games without Aim Assist and most of these God Players calling you out for maybe not being the best, would realize they are crap too.

You are on console dude people aren’t aim botting destiny 2 has so much aim assist it’s really easy to hit all your shots with most weapons and the flinch mechanic can give you free headshots. You are an average player and with the removal of skill based matchmaking you might just be matching good players. Tossing out fake hacking accusations doesn’t help anyone

Just accept the fact people can be better players than you. Edit: Looking at DestinyTracker you just happen to be a slightly below average player. Don't give up though put in the work, try and figure out how and what those people play with/like. Also don't be afraid of youtube because there's a million and a half guides to help to improve your PvP capabilities.

Not sure if specifically aimbot did exist on Xbox. But cheating sure did exist. Consider varying input using Cronus max as one of them. Cannot recall how many times got sniped head shot miles away by players hip fired..

Console aimbot is, as far as I know, impossible. The only real cheaters on console ddos or lag switch in trials.

Git gud. Aimbots are extremely rare on console. You just have to accept that some people are just better than you. Tired of people in consoles seeing PC players talk about cheaters(which is a real issue there) and then thinking, "Oh! This person is better than me! Hax!" Please just stop.

Like many have said here, there's no aimbot on console. You are just facing better players with better aim.

Not viable right now. I myself have quit as well till anti-cheat is addressed. This problem has only exploded due to Bungies incompetence. To the point it became a meme to people that have never played the game have heard of it! Further more. The general population players that spread the narrative that well cheating is not that bad but it does indeed happen. Sorry we got news for you. If you missed it the last time Bungie spoke of the cheating problem they also conceded that is was more likely the high the skill bracket. What do you think will happen to cheaters in the pvp brackets?? Of course they will progress into the high brackets kind of hard to be bad when your cheating. Will they address the problem sure they will, but not this season my friend. Maybe next.
