In case you didnt know 1080 nf had 750 enemies some of us were planning to farm that this week. But they changed the nightfall to Pyramidion, because NO FUN ALLOWED!
They didn't fix Felwinter's broken ass door lie quest this fast.

Edited by Kain The Slain: 7/12/2020 11:51:07 PMThese forums never ceases to amaze me. The people here will literally complain about anything.

I mean, it makes sense why they patched it, it'd break tf out of the economy
-
I mean I understand it, the thing was busted, but I wish I could’ve farmed it

Edited by Knox Knox: 7/9/2020 8:40:58 PM
WOW they fixed the nightfall bug fast
Yep, they fixed it fast. Sure did! In fact they fixed this game in so many different ways I don't even know what I'm playing anymore. For the longest time, I wondered what Destiny was all about. With the advent of this so called "Sunsetting" bullsh*t, I've seen people comparing Destiny to a game called World of Warcraft, an MMORPG game. Some also compare Destiny to a Magic Card game. Lol. When I hear this it makes me cringe. Destiny is not World or Warcraft. I'm not playing WoW. I'm playing Destiny. Why would you say Sunsetting happens in these games? I'm not playing these games. I'm playing Destiny. Lol. I'm not playing WoW or a Magic Card game! Why would you even justify they are the same and that these games have sunsetting? Destiny is not WoW or a Magic Card game. Now, here's the puncher. A year ago, they announced what Destiny is really all about. After five years of struggling what Destiny is to become, they finally said Destiny is an "Action MMO." Okay, what does that mean for the game? . . . One year have passed and I didn't really feel what that means or what I feel about the game. I still felt I was still playing the same Destiny game. They put a new description as an Action MMO game, but the game really feels the same. Now, fast forward to today and next season. They're implementing this so called "Sunsetting" and compared Destiny to a Magic Card game with sunsetting features. This comparison came from them, the makers of the game. Lol. So, after all these years, 6 years, I finally realized what Destiny is. Do you wanna know what Destiny really is?. . . It took them 6 years to finally say, "Okay, we are sticking to our story!". . . . . . Destiny is a Pokemon Game! It's both a video game and a card game!!! WORD!

9 RepliesChanging the nightfall is not fixing the bug....I think you need to take some programming classes......no it shouldn't take classes to realize this isn't a fix

That is a known habit of Bungo, Game can cheese you, you're not cheesing the game

*Bug negatively affected community* Bungie: “Eh, theres always next year.” *Bug positively affecting community* Bungie: points to DLC “Shut it down, we need all hands on deck for this shit.”

4 RepliesSomthing that is bugged and benefits the player? Immediate fix. Somthi g that's bugged and harms the player? A month if were lucky to have a semi fix. Bungie logic through and through.

There is never suppose to be fun in destiny. That's why it's now boring as hell. Everything is suppose to be balanced and challenging. Thank the people who like a challenge and balance. 👍

Edited by OrionTheWarlock: 7/10/2020 6:23:10 PMIt's been months since we've been getting Error Code Beavers on PC. I guess that's low priority. Guess why I didn't pre-order the new content? Complain with your wallet, peeps. Rants in this forum are pretty much useless. There's games that communicate with their gamers a lot, Bungie has done more than in the past, but never much. You'll get an answer in 3 months. Or maybe 2 years.

Changing something that gives high level players a chance to power level even further past casuals, who may not know about it, is not fair. Switching something that will cause an unfair advantage for some players, and will affect the majority of the player base is a larger priority, and easier, than developing an entire anticheat system. Cheating is a niche issue on one platform, and many players don’t encounter it. That’s why it’s less of a priority. Also, for the PlayStation people in the comments, stop implying they haven’t started their anticheat. It’s pretty clear one is in the works. A loot bug can ruin the game for people who couldn’t do it or didn’t know about it. Cheating is mainly in trials and comp for people with a high SBMM The ease of making an emergency patch to switch the NF much simpler than developing an entire anticheat system from scratch. This is what happens when you beg for the game on steam instead of Battle.net, so you should have expected cheating to come with it. Tl;dr: switching a nightfall that impacts the whole community is simple yet necessary, however anticheat is harder to make, which is why it’s not out yet.

Edited by WulfPak666: 7/10/2020 9:44:26 PMBungie only acts with the quickness if there's a bug that greatly benefits the players as a whole. Or they literally have every "Yes Man" on Twitch and YouTube blow up their DMs or the subreddit. Say, how's that Anti-cheat coming?

No Fun Allowed & “No Refunds” *walks away*

1 ReplyI don't think flipping a switch in-house to fix the nightfall can be equated to preparing a patch to ship out to all platforms.
-
2 RepliesThey can patch something up that fast, yet I've seen no word given on the gambit spawning glitch.

3 RepliesEdited by U17575342: 7/8/2020 10:20:04 PMWhat's funny is that strike has been bugged in nightfall mode to have base 750 enemies since shadowkeep released (Oct 1, 2019) and Festering Core was a standard nightfall the first week. Easy 300k score that I couldn't show off because Bungie shipped content without any rewards. But now (July 7, 2020) is when they finally notice it, when it starts helping players. Remember, Bungie day is about celebrating you. Edit: this pretty much confirms grandmaster will be unobtainable this season.
-
I wouldn't exactly call the festering core fun. Even at 750, it's a strike you really only wanna do once in a while.

11 RepliesPeople are now crying cause they can't cheat. Smh. Kids will cry over anything I guess, even when they're in the wrong

Bump for this whole threads exposure

1 ReplyYou do realise those 2 are vastly different in complexity? I do think they should have just let it fly for the week tho.
