I for one can’t wait for the return of Wrath of the Machine and Crota in the future. D1 will always be better and should have stayed as one game. D2 was garbage from day one, a gutted shell of everything missing that made Destiny Great! IronBanner still SUCKS to what we had in D1

They also bring back VoG I read. And add another raid on Europa, correct? Will the VoG be a copy paste? I still remember Slayerage two Manning the VoG in the old times when everyone was struggling with a team of 6! What will it be now? Just a world’s first for who’s going to be the most overleveled to solo it within 2 days? 🧐 Hopefully Europa will be huge and the new one won’t be a placid mini raid for the sake of marketing.

1 ReplyDestiny 2 year 1, 1 new raid and 2 new raid lairs. That's 3 in 1 year. Destiny 2 year 2, 3 new raids. That's 3 in 1 year. Activision splits. Destiny 2 year 3, 1 new raid. That's 1 GoS raid for the entire year. Lol. Now they're taking away what did you say 5 raids?. . . That leaves 2 old ones in year 4. And they said there will be 3 raids starting Beyond Light. So you do the math. How many will be new?. . . I don't know, I'm not a fortune teller or Nostradamus. Bruh, do you know what's coming though?. . . Vault of Glass! Wait . . . Isn't that old content too?. . . WORD!

2 RepliesIf they want remove stuff fine, but then make all left over stuff go up to light. Garden, last wish drop up to max light. Forges are going anywhere, raise to light. Any activity left should be raised to light. No offence but I don't care about free to play players. Make them get to light to play free content. Make the content viable to the people who pay for the content. I have never understood for 6 years why you don't make everything viable. If content is so hard to make then use what you have.

1 ReplyI really don't see a problem with it. Especially since the Exotics tied to the raids will be made obtainable through other means. D1 end of it's life cycle had 4 raids. We're going into Beyond Light with a total of 3 raids with one being added in later down the road. The only reason people play SotP is for Anarchy. CoS is hardly played ever bc it's a more difficult raid and the loot isn't exactly worth chasing. SoS is possibly one of the most difficult raids and it's only worth playing for the Sleeper Catalyst and the emote. EoW is only worth doing for the Telesto Catalyst. Leviathan is only worth doing for the Legend of Acrius quest + Catalysts for it and Skyburner's. Could they just rework the old raids to bring their gear up to the max light cap and have the Y1 raids drop random rolled weapons? Yes, but that takes work, work that would be better utilized in new content. Y'all always cry about reissued and old content, and this would be doing exactly that.

Not to mention the other exotics possibly being available through quests now. It’s sad to see content go but I’m honestly looking forward to destination and activity rotation. If they do it right they can make it part of the story and an interesting function of the Destiny world. Whole planets being locked off for some unknown or terrifying reason is what the Martian exclusion zone [i]should[/i] have been like in D1 but we just waltzed in there like nothing mattered.

There is one possible positive that may come out of this, if bungie think ahead a little: Seasonal raid updates could be brought in, so on a season to season basis there's a focus on a dcv raid - which is brought up to new light level, brought up to new gear standards (where applicable) and made pinnacle. You could, possibly, have the raid last two seasons; the second season being extra time for triumphs/collections but it will no longer be pinnacle, that will be the next raid in the cycle. Nb: new raid lairs should be considered in this cycle. I think d2 should always keep the annual raids; so leviathan, last wish and garden of salvation 'should' be permanent - Leviathan does need some love though. Nb: new 'full' raids should be considered as permanent additions.
