I keep hearing that there’s nothing that Bungie can do about it, and that Bungie can’t detect it because they don’t have an anti-cheat. Is this just how it is now? I love playing on PC - it’s an absolutely beautiful game. But unfortunately I can’t stomach playing any type of competitive, or really now any sort of PvP, on my PC. I’m a halfway decent player, and been playing this game since beta of D1. Along the way, I haven’t always won, but at least I felt that the game was fair, and if I improve my game, and grind for good gear, I would be on an even playing field. Now with wall hacks, and aim-bots, and who knows what else, it’s really not fun playing on PC. We actually had someone self revive in the final round of a trials march to win the game and end our passage!?! I always report it when it blatantly obvious, but seems to be so prevalent now that’s in all PvP game types, including Gambit, quick play, IB, and especially Trials and Comp. I literally have to go back to a console to play any sort of competitive PvP, and play on controller with reduced graphics and FPS. The game is simply broken with these hacks, and it just doesn’t feel like anything is being done about it. Dealing with cheaters is now expected in all forms of multiplayer, and it’s simply not fun or worth it to play against perfect aim and X-ray vision. I really hope that a solution is underway.
