Petition to bring back Taken themed armor from Destiny 1 (or at least a shader that gives the same effect)
I was going through my old Destiny 1 characters and I came across my old Desolate Armor set and I feel like there should be something similar brought back into Destiny 2, just because it looks amazing and could be used to make some amazing fashion sets.

They should just make "Exotic" Shaders. Sounds silly, but if you think about it. It doesn't sound all that bad of an idea

AWESOME. Bungie needs to make some cool shaders instead of the basic "color here, color there" ones we've got since vanilla, i want Taken effect, Hive armor bone effect (their armor plating where it's all bumpy and scuffed up), i want weird ones like the fire effect Zulmak has (Gatekeeper knights in D1 / Zulmak).. or even the blueish version the other knights had in Crotas End I want shaders that make us glow, what the -blam!- ever happened to those bungie!!? Or also why is the Garden of Salvation armor the only armor that's got special effects on it? Why hasn't there any other raid armor set with the stuff except the hard mode Leviathan vanilla set that has the glows ? (Think the ornaments for EoW and Spire armor had glows too i think) Whatever happened to that stuff? Raid armor needs to pop out more and attract attention.

2 RepliesThe Shattered Throne dungeon should've had its own Taken themed armour and weapons,Would've made me want to do it more often the same with The Pit of Heresy dungeon which should've had Hive themed armour and weapons.

After wanting a Taken shader since D1 I came to the conclusion that it’ll never happen because it’s too good of an idea.
