I dont like how style is ruined over wanting to have good perks
by allow armour exotics accept universal ornaments this would be solved.

Honestly. If RuneScape can make it work, I think Destiny can. You just have to make sure the overrides don’t work in PvP.

1 ReplyThink about what you are saying. You are pretty much saying that you want something like Izanagi's Burden, a sniper that can one shot guardians anywhere with the honed edge based on my knowledge, to look like one of the sniper ornaments, which can one shot guardians only on headshots. This can anger a lot of people that will literally just look at what the weapon looks like, or not even look at it at all, and just report you for cheating.

Edited by Flash_Surge_Blast: 7/4/2020 11:54:09 PMHear me out point 1 : The Top Players In D2 are Top Players Due To their Base Skill Their Exotic Has Little To Do With That. A Regular Player Can Imitate The Top Players (Their Exotic And Load Out) But They Wouldn't Be As Good As Them. Point 2 : When A Trials Match Starts The Exotics Each Opposing Players Hold Is Highlighted. So You Know What Exotics Are Equipped. Point 3 : After A Player Kills A Player In PVP Their Exotic Armour Name Should Be Mentioned like How The Wep That Was Used To Kill Is Mentioned In PVP. Thats How This Will Be Solved.

No way, you should able to identify exotics from looking at the person
-
1 ReplyNo way. I want to know if my opponent is using certain exotics without having to rummage through inventory screens.
-
1 ReplyHell no. I don’t want to be surprised when I’m being Hunted by one-eyed masked titans in trials.

Edited by Borealis-7: 7/4/2020 1:15:53 AMThis! I’ve been asking for this for a long time. People argue they need to see opponents loadout in pvp, but really look at how much some armours are altered by the exotic ornaments? Let’s take a step back, just disable universal ornaments on exotics in pvp, at least we can still have fashion in pve. The only real reason they won’t do this is they want to sell their ugly exotic ornaments.
-
No. They reflect important information to opponents/teammates.
-
Community can’t handle that
-
Absolutely not
-
It's done that way so that you know in pvp what you are up against.

1 ReplyHey enemy team look at this Hazard of the Cast with the Black Armory Ornament SIKE! It was a SUROS! You were FOOLED! HA-HA-HA-HA!
-
No. If my opponent is wearing an exotic piece of armor I should know about, I shouldn't have to inspect each player during a match to find out.
-
There's so many reasons why this would be problematic and will never happen.
-
Nah. They want the exotic to look like the exotic. You have to change things based on the exotic
