9 iron banner bounties and every reward was a primary weapon
WTF?!!!
How can 9 bounties all give primary rewards.
Level progression is impossible like this! 😡

I woulda preferred that to armor that didn’t have optimal stat rolls that was promptly deemed of low cosmetic value. New perks on guns are imo the best part of this event but I mostly got armor that’s worse than what I already had.

That’s Bungie’s plan. Leveling up as slow as possible to keep each player in the game longer. You’ll stop doing the Iron Banner soon, once you’re hate level reaches its ceiling

At the moment we are in an ebb and it seems unusually bad. Two weeks ago 5 of my powerful drops were energy weapons. Week after that was chests and cloaks. This week it’s primaries. And I’m [i]still[/i] convinced RNG is weighted to the highest level slot you have just to keep progression slowed down. Bungie hasn’t sorted out their garbage RNG algorithm because it’s doing [i]exactly[/i] what they want it to do.

I never thought that I would say it, but this was the worst Iron Banner I have played in a very long time. Most of the drops I received were duplicate weapons with trash rolls. The IB auto rifle and sidearm are not worth the chase. The few armor pieces I received were mediocre. All of them had stats below 60. I saved a good portion of the tokens for the next IB. As the weekend arrived I realized this event is a poor source of armor. Prior to IB I collected armor with 60+ stats and the maximum power limit for seasons 13 and 14. I used these to replace the Season 11 and 12 armor on my 3 characters, and I masterworked everything. IB provided nothing this time, neither good armor nor weapons.

If I get more than armor it will be the same as the last. helmet, helmet, hemet. IB is a lot of suffering this time for a small chance and rewards. Can someone start an improvement string? -I think items should drop rather than tokens. Tokens are something to collect and are pretty borning. Maybe cut back on tokens and have more drops? -Add material upgrades to the drops -Remove the bounty for kills with lower light. -daily bounties -Use tokens to re-roll items? I think some of these items they could do by next IB?

3 RepliesI turned in over 1000 ib tokens (I saved from last season) and completed all the quest. The only thing I wanted was the new 600 auto and I got 2.

2 RepliesRNG is trash. It's a limited event and nothing drops from match completions. 3 tokens per match. So 7 matches @ 10m each to get a chance at getting one of the ARs. An hour and 10m to spin the slot machine once. Current loot pool from saladin is probably 12-15 items. So maybe 6% to 8% chance to get an AR. I've gone through 8 bounties on 2 characters and have gotten a grand total of 1 forward path... the one from competing the quest. 11 shining spheres. Bungie really needs to find a better way of doing this stuff. It's unreasonable to ask someone to play an event for 20-30 hours in a week and then have nothing worth a shit to show for it.

It’s still crap eh? Sorry for your bad run. I stopped playing IB a few seasons back because the quests, rewards, and gear were totally out of sync with each other. The experience was one of the first things that finally made me throw my hands up in disgust with this franchise.

4 RepliesI’ve turned in 8 bounties across 2 characters. 3 pairs of gloves and primary for the Titan 2-boots, 1-energy, 1-primary for Warlock. Both characters received DUPLICATE pinnacle drops. The Titan did not receive a single new IB armour drop in any game. No new weapons dropped (Forward Path/Fools Remedy) in any game. Easily more than 50% of my games were blowout. Usually for the other team. This IB ranks a close 2nd to being the absolute worst IB event in the history of the franchise. The only IB worse? The 1st IB after The Taken King released did not drop any IB loot as a post match reward. CBMM is a big reason for the overall suck factor.

Just blatantly slowing down the leveling process to extend the grind. Then top it off with almost every match a mercy because of CBMM. Some may like the state of PVP, but I personally do not.

Yeah rng is utter garbage. I have yet to receive a helmet after completing almost 100 IB matches. Turned over 1000 tokens and still no helmet on my hunter or warlock. They should have just done a quest almost exactly as last season where progression through the quest gives you a piece of armor

Yeah I agree, that should just not happen!! I've been lucky this week with drops, but still 4/8 so far have been kinetic weapons... only one genuine dupe thankfully, the others were a point gain at least. Overall this season is very friendly on the pinnacle grind if you can get dungeons completed to break the weapon cycle... armour focused engrams help to top up any gear to your current level as well.

30 iron banner matches-one piece of 50 stat gear and a bunch of worse rolls of things I have in my vault. What a garbage game mode and reward system. Bungie doesn’t care about anything but making things easy on themselves, surely not our time and effort.

Since reset i have done 18 pinnacle milestones/bounties, and i really wish i was kidding when i say 15 of them were Kinetic, 15!!! Other than that i had one Power weapon which dropped same level as i had, 1 Cloak, same level and legs, 1 level above what was needed... out of hours and hours of game time. progress - .1 level on my Titan. And you wonder why people used to triple class characters. All that time to just dismantle rewards, Bungie is a joke, the RNG system is a joke, the rewards are a joke. Its beyond disgusting. I cant wait for Death Stranding and Cyberpunk to drop..

3 RepliesThe RNG is absolutely terrible in Iron banner this time around. I've been trying for 2 days to get the full warlock set and I can't get the bond to save my life. It keeps giving me biting fox over and over again.
