Why is it so easy to have practically all white colors on all three class types but to get something even remotely close to all black (real black, not light gray) on all three classes requires us to try EVERY shader on EVERY SINGLE piece of armor to see what it looks like (knowing Destiny shader system is weird and confusing).
Seriously Devs, why cant we have a real all black shader that is
1) ALL BLACK
2) REALLY BLACK
3)Looks the same on Hunter, Lock, and Titan
I literally spend hours upon hours trying to get my characters to look like they are wearing all black and it rarely works out.
Please, I've already purchased your upcoming content but PLEASE add a real, all black shader that looks the same on all classes with NO HIDDEN RANDOM COLORS.
Thank you,
A person that lives in black clothes

Might as well fix the whole shader system while we're at it: 1. Shaders are no longer consumables. Go back to the same system that we had in D1; once you had it, you had it and could use it indefinitely. 2. Allow an option to apply shaders to all armor, all weapons, or to whole character. Pretty self explanatory. 3. Add a palette system to make a custom shader. The menu would look similar to how the emote menu looks except in the center is where the custom shader works. You have four slots that will each take one of the palettes from a particular shader and move it to the custom one; any empty slots will just be the default colors. If possible, without blowing up Bungie's engine, allow several tabs for up to "X" custom shaders.
Imo I think 5 custom shaders is enough but that's just my opinion.
2 RepliesAmduat Ink, Banner Unbroken, Fortuna Burn, Hallow, Infinite Link, Knight-Errant, Revenant, Shimmer, Superblack, The nowhere, The old guard, White tiger... We had it good and we did not know 😐

You'd think they would virtue signal the hell out of black shader these days.

6 RepliesThere are not completely white shaders. 🤦

<God please. That and a Taken shader.>

I'm sure they're saving them for darkness dlc,

4 RepliesEdited by LikwiD_SmOkE22: 7/3/2020 8:47:46 PMWe've been asking for an all black shader for years.. Than they thought they were funny with tiger shroud.. NOBODY wants stripes on their armor lol
-
Sounds like white shader privilege to me. Shame on you Bungie.
-
About 90% of the shaders look crappy to me,We need better shaders and a better shader system.
-
1 ReplyI don’t know what these designers fascination with brown is. Seriously. Why is brown in every shader? Ruins everything.
-
Shrouded stripes exist.

I think the simple answer is because everyone would wear it. Or maybe there's some weird PC reason like someone will be offended by an all black shader. Idk. Remember Revenant? It was the Superblack before Superblack came out. Now that I think about it, I don't even know if Bungie could make a shader with such a name anymore, in this time of day. Lol.

“I literally spend hours” ... working as intended

3 RepliesEdited by Snafu Gundam: 7/4/2020 12:37:16 PMWhy are you people obsessed with an all black shader? Hell they gave ya'll "super black" in D1 and barely anyone used it.
-
2 RepliesThey don't have black because it makes it kind of unfair in PvP. You can't see people when they are in the shadows. Remember D1 where they eventually gave out dark/black shaders because it was nearing the end of the game's lifecycle? The shader from this season's season pass rank thing gets pretty dark although it is definitely not black.

It is what it is

Same. Also...Why do they design gear with fixed colour patterns? Like this season's IB cloack?. Seriously. Orange isn't the new black and it limits the shaders it goes with. Nice design....going straight into the trash.
-
I loved doing the same but always turned out grey . I also liked to add a lil red in the setup . Black ... real black ...not grey .
-
1 ReplyI would kill for bungie to do away with the shader system entirely and go to a palette system or something similar to what Warframe has. Imagine being able to choose individual colors for each individual segment of your gear instead of being forced into a terrible combination.
-
Try getting the same shade of gold NOT using the same shader x.x

1 ReplyThis is what my hunter currently looks like. All armor pieces are using a purchased ornament from Bungies store Eververse. Head - Neoteric Kiyot Mask - Amethyst Veil Arms - Luxe Sleeves - New Age Black Armory Chest - Intrepid Discovery Vest - Darkwater Froth Legs - Luxe Riders - Darkwater Froth Class Item - Luxe Cloak - Mercury Vex Chrome
