so, with the beyond light preview we saw the flying fish thing with the exo stranger, which got me to thinking: could we have more companions like our ghost? this could give us even more abilities, although we could only use one at a time.
For example: we could have a ghost, one of those fish things , and maybe even mini rasputins or a hive worm. The fish could give us -blam!- and maybe an ice subclass(europa) the rasputin mini frame could let us call in orbital strikes or a warsat giving us ammo, and the hive worm could give us hive attributes, like a knight's shield, or a wizards poison cloud.
we put each of them in the story by
fish: beyond light campaign
rasputin mini frame: rebuilding rasputin (evacuation quest for travelers chosen)
hive worm: the witch queen campaign

Sounds 'fishy', but I like this idea

6 RepliesWE SHALL AMASS AN ARMY OF MASCOTS I can’t speak for the Stranger’s new pet but I can shed some light on the other things. But I highly doubt the fish will be directly related to us getting stasis. We don’t know what that fish thing is but we know that the stasis energy/damage type will be wielded by Eramis’ Empire without that fish, most likely related to the piece of tech Eramis is holding in the trailer and cover. The fish is more likely to be related to the Stranger’s time traveling or assist her with things or something like that. Rasputin doesn’t need to make some kind of vessel, he can link into our armor, jumpships, computers, etc. as an onboard AI. He already does this with Ana Bray. And not all of him is in there, he can just devote a small part of himself to it. He’s a massive intelligence network spanning the solar system in tons of bunkers, facilities and satellites. Heck, there’s still parts of his “brain” that haven’t been recovered yet. Hive Worm is an absolute no-no. They are parasites and won’t give us any power.

Those would be dope.

I mean using a hive artifact to give us Soulfire (hive magic) supers would be sweet
