12 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 7/2/2020 3:27:37 AMHunters are built to counter direct attackers with their mobility and evasiveness. The best strategy is to make them come to you. Use homing/area denial grenades to force them into unfavorable positions. Keep your distance and don't challenge them head-on unless you're certain you can instakill them. If you're about to approach a Hunter around a corner, chances are good that they might try to stay in the air in order to trick you, so be mindful of attacks from above. They also don't have the best supers. Golden Gun has no damage resistance, Tethers are slow to activate and Spectral/Staff, for the most part, are only good at close range. They're annoying, but not overpowered. If nothing else, stick by your damn team.

9 RepliesThey are also very weak (ability wise) Just keep shooting them.

Agreed. Yet they don't nerf them
-
They’re compensating for their lack of PvE lethality 😉

10 RepliesI like how people are like “hunters have been nerfed the most!” Yeah they’ve been nerfed, spectral blades was nerfed at least 100 times and it’s STILL the best super in the game, same with golden gun, and blade barrage, and everything about hunters, they’ve been nerfed from OPx99999 to OPx9999.

Biggest problem I've had with Hunters is invisibility lasting too damn long. Other than that, I'm not too mad anymore about it, I've gotten used to having to deal with them spamming the same stuff over and over again.

I personally find Warlocks to be pretty annoying. That being said I just try to adapt rather than complain about them.

6 RepliesThe invisibility needs to get dialed way down. I noticed some comp games where hunters were invisible every single engagement and they don’t show up on radar. Maybe if they cut back the number of times they can go invisible and make them show up on radar during invisibility than it would be ok.

We sure are

You know even with them being my 2nd favorite class I hate dealing with them in pvp. I think its the fact there movement its way different compared to warlock/titan.
-
Annoying but really underwhelming in utility compared to warlock and titan. Hunter’s defining feature is a vertical jump and I guess a movement class ability but they have no other outstanding abilities, compared to warlock and titan with things like Celestial fire, knockout, frontal assault, inertia override, devour, and arc web. Maybe you could make an argument for throwing knife, flawless execution, and knock em down but other than that every hunter subclass just feels the same to me. My worst performing class and the one I enjoy the least

Edited by Sturm with no Drang: 7/2/2020 4:55:14 PMFrom a PvP or PvE perspective? Because if it’s PvP, good. You’re facing against people who actually know how to play Hunters. [This post was brought to you by the Gemini Jester Gang]

So are Titans and Warlocks.
