After an over a year-long break, I came back to Destiny 2 and took my girlfriend along as a new player. The first thing the game did was dropping me to IO and start a Season of Arrivals quest. Her new, free account did not have that quest. We both started picking up Umbral engrams and they started to accumulate and block inventory space for other engrams. I've read up on the umbrals, seen the tutorials and the next day we sat doown to finish the seasonal quests and unlock decoding the engrams.. For me no problem, for her free account, no related quest was available. To get rid of those issues, today we bought her The DLCs and Season pass so we can both advance through the story and get rid of the problem. Sadly the quest still doesn't appear, so I started doing research. We tried creating 2nd character - still no quest appears for her. We tried joining to my character, then starting the quest - we finished it. My character got the seasonal artifact, hers did not. We tried twice on alt characters. We tried talking with Drifter, and the machinery multiple times on both characters - nothing Zavala does not have any quest to pick up. Questline just doesn't exist for her, no seasonal artifact, no way to open umbral engrams, nothing. Stuck with full inventory and forced to remove them to have any space for other engrams. The issue has been lingering for around 3 weeks it seems, if there is any confirmed workaround please help us out. Especially that it's a seasonal thing and fix is taking so long the season's gonna end before we have a chance to experience it properly.
