Returning player and all my stuff is gone,

Hi All I'm a returning player, have over 3000 hs in d1, left d2 in y1 due to one of my close friends that always played together ( at least 2000 or more of the total hours played) committed suicide and I couldn't bare playing with him as we did every thing together, and then our clan slowly disbanded people drifted and stopped playing, So after so many long years of not playing a game i so much loved I decided to get it again on steam, Coming back to a whole different game by the looks, but couldn't help notice that all my gear is now 750L, and all my stuff gone and the collections vault gone, so I knew I had to take a look to find it, found the collections tab but all my d1 stuff that was stored in the collections is gone, all the exotics (weapons armor) all my sparrows and ships stuff I knew I had stuff that got dropped soooo many times that I glimmered on the spot all gone, but strangely only the stuff my character is wearing is in the collections, So my question is will they reappear later or are they gone for ever? Can bungie help? I know I'd probably never use them again but some of them especially the ones that had quests attached or my first gallijorn drop has sentimental value, stuff to remember old friends, Ethan

No equipment or the like from Destiny 1 transferred to Destiny 2 with the Veterancy import from your D1 PS4 characters to your D2 PS4 characters. The Veterancy import from D1 to D2 was entirely cosmetic; you would have received some emblems to reflect certain milestones you reached in Destiny 1 as well as a slideshow of your achievements in Destiny 1. Your character's looks would have been imported as well. None of your equipment, items, or currencies came with it.

    • On top of what DragonWithin and SilentLucid have already told you, anything not in your vault/inventory when Warmind launched was not tracked in your Collections, and would need to be rediscovered; this includes any Eververse ships and sparrows.
