Why are spiders scary? (For those who are also afraid of spiders)
I dont really know why spiders scare me they just do i think its the legs but im not sure

I love them unless they’re on my person or in extremely close and uncontrolled proximity. However that’s mainly because we have several dangerous species here and I don’t want to die before hitting age 100. [spoiler]Sorry, all out of salt.[/spoiler]

They used to not be too bad for me, up until I saw a massive cat spider. Now I avoid them like the plague.

Because your parent or parents taught you that they are. Most spiders will run into a box if you place it on the floor in front of them and you can just put them outside. No need to kill them.

Most people are scared of the eyes and fangs more than the legs. I don't have arachnophobia but there are certain types of spiders that will unnerve me due to their eyes.

5 RepliesThey’re fast, silent, can come at you from all angles, and are some times very hard to see. Basically, they’re 8-legged ninjas. Who wouldn’t find them scary?

When I was a child, sometime in the month of October, my dad would have a creepy spider stuffed thing attack me or my sister, as a joke. I was between the ages of 4 and 7 throughout. When a big black hairy spider with long legs comes jumping out of the darkness onto your face, and you’re a 5 year old child, you’d be scared too.
