PvP only players destroyed Iron Banner.
Iron Banner is for EVERYONE who puts the work in. Taking the seasonal bonus away caters to the PvP only crowd who only do PvP bounties. Those of us who do Iron Banner when it comes around have always known if you put in the grind you reap the rewards. Not this time. This time your seasonal buffs don’t count. Once again the PvP community dictates the terms for the whole community because they’re one trick ponies. They have Trials. Leave Iron Banner alone.

Laughing to myself. Amazing how few of these comments actually relate to the initial post. Somehow, reading comprehension has become yet another lost art. Citing my “own logic” yet entirely missing the point is my fave.

2 RepliesIMO, the inherent problem isn't the players, it's the game. Don't get me wrong, I love the game but: There will never be any type of true balance in a PvE /PvP looter shooter with infinite different weapon rolls, pinnacle weapons, and armor points and mods. There is too many variables that make one player way more overpowered to a another, even at same skill level. The only way to truly balance PvP and have everyone on the same playing field is predefined load outs. then it's all on you and your skill level. CBMM, SBMM, it doesn't truly matter. A guy with the same "skill" as you, with the same weapons with better rolls and armor is already at an inherent advantage that you will still have to overcome.

The seasonal bonus not only ruin IB, but anything crucible it was associated with. It only rewarded endless bounty grinding, only doing crucible bounties doesn’t not yield substantial season bonus, which has nothing to do with crucible gameplay and skill.
