Armor Sunsetting is farewell to most
Having spoke to a lot of friends and that includes ones that do not even watch popular videos on opinions of the games future, being told armor is getting sunset is a straight nah -blam!- that wont be playing. Bungie better be rethinking this trash idea. The amount of grind for such little, no correct that, zero reward is clearly developers that are obtuse. Grinding armor then having to regrind it for a lateral move isn't going to work for us.

Grind for armour with high stats. Grind for them to be the right ratio. Grind for the materials to upgrade. Grind for the gear to level it. Grind for materials to infuse it. d===(￣▽￣*)b Now sunset and take it all away and start again.... ಠ_ಠ Nope.

I highly doubt it. Theyll show something that's meh over this summer and the forums will be hyped. We have seen it way too many times.

1 ReplyI played destiny exclusively for 6 years but only became frustrated in the last year or so. It was death by a thousand cuts, with the promise of deep slashes in the near future sealing the deal. I hung up my spurs last season and nothing they’re doing has me remotely interested in returning. I was Bungie faithful for 23 years but now they need to hear me leaving.

In previous iterations it included an expansion of functionality. However that's not the case for this fall. If anything... It's just going to make me and others play very casually.

Screw sunsetting and new armour I’m so fed up grinding for stuff just for them to sunset it all . Every season this game is broken. Triumphs this season for me are the last straw doing stuff over again to see if a triumph will work. Fix this game. Now we need to donate to streamers to get a twitch shader and emblem why . No chance that’s going to happen by me

My best friends and main Fireteam quit after the start of Black Armory. I've lost all faith thanks to this season nonsense. I'm not quitting because Sunsetting but it's an additional great motivator ontop of plenty of others to never return to this waste of a sequel and time.

1 ReplyYou know you technically have to regrind every season you just infuse everything. Just saying. I’m just gonna transmog or whatever it’s called my favorite armor and play the game as normal except I can actually have more upgrade modules now cause I ain’t spending them on armor.

It's so frustrating how bad RNG is for armor. You try to get high, matching, stat rolls and you can still wind up with four, 64-67 pieces that leave one of your stats at an "8" or a "9" with no way to fix it. And on top of that, then we're just supposed to throw away anything near "perfect" that we get, less than a year later. They need to add "stat-sliders" on armor so we can smooth out some of the "heartbreak" eights and nines.

You mean grinding for the exact same gear you had is something people don't like? Their focus groups show........who are we kidding? Some fool in charge want to squeeze a few more hours of gameplay out of us.
