If you're burned out because of bounties but you still want to get that fast XP. Then you probably do hate the bounties that tells how u to play the game and especially bounties where they tell u to use a weapon type u totally dislike. It really gets annoying and feels like a unpleasant grind. It would be nice if these bounties were less commen in the game to make bounty grinding less of an annoying grind.

Total score count with each weapon having a different score count would be and better option then players can use which weapon they like or are comfortable with.

D1 strike bounties usually asked for primary, special, and heavy kills not of a specific weapon type, there were a few that did like fusion multi kills but those were easy and were patrol bounties that counted anywhere.

I'd like to see more general bounties like 'get 100 kills' or 'collect 20 resources or chests from any destination' type of thing.

Agreed! I absolutely never pick up the trace rifle or bow bounties because they’re just not fun. Does anyone even use a heavy grenade launcher anymore????

My issue is most of the bounties dont have any synergy. Maybe have the random destination ones based upon the flash point, or strike bounties matching up with the burn for the week.

They have to use these bounties as there isn't enough content to keep us going over the season. Exotic weapon catalysts are the same. They give us an incomplete exotic gun, then have us grind some more to complete it. I suppose this is Destiny's gameplay now. No use complaining, either we like it or not. If not I need to find another past time.

If bounties didnt have a weapon type to use then bounties would be boring in general.

Honestly only real issue ones I see is for new players and the use linear fusions and trace rifles. They've removed the only world drop legendary LF so now new players have to just hope they get whatever exotic ones that can drop. Trace rifles only have exotic drops aswell.

Completely agree, I am getting sick of the bounty grind that we have had for nearly an entire year. Bungie forces me to do bounties in order to play the game which is just straight up dumb. It would be okay if the bounties were better like "kill 25 enemies, "get 5 weapon kills", "log into the game", or "do an emote, or not, here's some XP". I have a job and work 20 hours a day and only get 3 minutes a week to play this game, so it is really hard for me to get my season pass to rank 100 within the first week. I need the game to be easy and cater to me because video games are hard.

Every bounty in the game just being, "Just get some kills using whatever against whoever, I don't care" would get kind of boring.

-blam!- the iron banner quest for the sidearms. Half my kills haven’t counted. I haven’t swapped guns since I started a few games ago and they just haven’t counted.

Wouldn't mind it as much if the light level of Drops respected your potential max.... never fails, Prime engrams drops when I'm farming with the 3 lowest light weapons I have.

I do loathe these types of bounties basically any bounty that isn't something I like to use gets ignored, which means the gunsmith is almost entirely wasted for me and that is the primary source of the grindiest material in the game, the infusion enhancement cores. bungie could easily make the bounties a selection of 3-4 weapons instead of one that they are trying to force everyone into, or just get rid of specific ability and weapon bounties entirely. Make bounties consistent with our normal gameplay so they enhance our fun instead of creating friction. bungie design ignores fun, just a bunch of spreadsheet reading devs saying 'Hey bows are low usage so let's throw in some bow bounties!'

Agreed. It bugs me when I have to use weapon types that I dislike. Some weapons I have to search for because I don't have any Vaulted or on my characters.

Remember in D1 when most bounties were just killing like 25 goblins or something and it was with any weapon? Why can't it just be simple instead of "Kill 200 enemies by completing a series of backflips and using a smol sidearm." Activities should also be the main source to get Exp with bounties being a little boost for those overachievers or just to do in the background while playing. Gives more of a reason to do strikes, raids, crucible, and stuff like iron banner and trials can give like 4x the Exp that normal crucible would since they rotate. Would def give a reason to play iron banner lmao.

Say No To Rage F'd up but he had some great points on this topic. I dont think bounties will ever go away completely but, if we had primary bounties, and secondary bounties, and heavy bounties that would help a lot. For example primary bounties, get kills with any primary.
