Ok Someone Define "Power Creep"

1 ReplySimple. The Recluse is currently the best energy SMG in the game. If sunsetting were not a thing, the only way to get players to move on from Recluse is to make a gun that's better. But now you have a weapon better than Recluse, so how do you get players to move on from THAT weapon? You have to keep making stronger and stronger guns. That is power creep.

Power creep is when gear has to keep getting stronger and stronger in order to be a viable option against old gear. Perfect example, the recluse, no SMG released since the recluse has beaten it because in order to be better than the recluse you'd need to make something stronger than master of arms which is already crazy strong. Power creep ruins balance and is overall terrible for games despite what the smooth brains say
