Destiny 2 on Xbox one Crashes and makes me reinstall the game again
Since season of Arrivals my game randomly crashes and an Xbox error message pops up saying "Problem reading game content" then closes the game, and when I go back to launch the game it works as intended until I press A to start it the gets stuck on a verifying content pop up in game goes up to 13% and stays there. The only way I could fix this was uninstalling the game and redownloading it.
P.S. As of this current weekly reset/update in the menagerie, once I kill the final boss none of my items/rewards load and going back to orbit crashes my game, but staying too long caused the problem above.

Edited by ADragonWithin: 6/26/2020 7:48:55 AMIf you're experiencing this issue repeatedly, please uninstall the game yourself, clear your cache, then reinstall the game. If you continue to experience the issue after doing the above, then either your download and install is getting corrupted during download/installation, which could be caused by connection hiccups between yourself and Microsoft's servers or file writing issues, or your drive is failing and is repeatedly corrupting the data on it while reading/writing. If the manual uninstall, cache clear, and reinstall I mentioned first doesn't solve your issue, you may need to check with your ISP for internet issues, or you may want to contact Microsoft concerning possible repair/replacement of your drive (if you're using the internal drive on your Xbox). If you're using an external drive, you may need to look into a replacement for it or switch to using the internal drive.

Nope! If you’re sick of Destiny 2 crashing on Xbox one X with the “error reading game content please close the game and restart”, I found a fix. I’ve been experiencing errors and crashing repeatedly since I installed the game on my Xbox. To fix the problem, go to Xbox settings > storage > delete local games and select delete. THIS WILL NOT DELETE YOUR GAMES OFF THE HDD. Your console will reset and shut down. When you power back up sign in like usual and select D2 and it should be fixed.
