The tribute hall...please dont take it away!
So I understand why content needs to be rotated out to make room for new things. It feels like a lot at once, but bungie DID say that the first round would have to be more drastic the get things started.
I get it. Makes sense.
But...the tribute hall is something I think should stay. It's not really story content per se...its a functional space for testing weapons and abilities. There is nothing else like it and it serves an important purpose. There is a reason the playerbase asked for something like it for a long time. It's at least part of why that season was so well received.
If the leviathan has to go along with some other destinations, then so be it. But we should keep the tribute hall, or at least replace it with something that offers the same use to players.

1 ReplyI feel the Tribute Hall they should keep as well. I enjoy testing out my weapons and abilities. And the fact we spent so much in materials there was insane. If they took it away all our hard work would be gone too...

If they get rid of it I want my 20,000 bright dust back. Or however much bright dust it cost. I don't know at all how much bright dust it was but it was a lot. Of course though Bungie is a scumbag company so they would never give us a refund.

It wouldn't be so bad if they re located it with all the bright dust it cost which at one time was real currency this is just a piss take to remove it all together

They have to take away the tribute hall since Leviathan is leaving. Bungie is infamous for constantly re-using game assets in multiple places. Removing the Leviathan means they have to remove the art assets, sounds, textures, meshes, etc. Makes sense obviously. However the tribute hall also uses all of those same assets. We'd end up with an unplayable area taking up space. It does suck that our only training range style thing is being vaulted...they should give us something in the tower similar.

it should stay solely based on the fact that in order to finish it you needed to spend Bright Dust which is essentially real world money.

Keep tribute hall for sure! I didn't spend all of my bright dust to fill my room just to have it stolen. This was an area for people who want to experiment with weapons and for people who wanted a trophy room. Plus you can swap weapons and gear with having to "hear when you whisper to the void....." Or having to turn off dialogue temporarily.

Tbh it should be expanded upon to further show our efforts in the most recent content maybe having the door at the back open up and allow for more trophies to be placed around?

1 ReplyI was in there yesterday. Trying to finish it before its taken away. It cost heaps and still need more to do. Bro none of it makes sense to me. Where will the story start if they remove plantes there will be massive gaps in the story. They cant even fix a bounty "means to an end" i have the bounty and cant even play it...fml
