I have been asking for , and i m sure lot of people have been asking for a pure black shader for a long time . we have gotten really good dark shaders in past couple of seasons but still no complete black shader .
No it wont be a taken shader .
No it wont be shiny or matt and wont reflect light in any way .
it will just be a complete black shader totally opposite to how honor of the nine is complete white shader .
& NO i dont want to wait till lightfall expansion to get this shader . i know it would make sense that we get that shader from the darkness , but the darkness is already here , so lore wise i think it would be fine if we get it in any of the upcoming 2 or 3 seasons.
Please bungie i really hope you release it soon or have plans to release it soon . I am sure the whole community will love it and please add some challenge to it , like doing a dungeon solo or flawless or something so its not easy to obtain and its got not only super unique look to it but also showoff as when you wear it and people will easily identify you as the person who has completed such challenge to obtain it .

5 RepliesEdited by BossCharacter: 6/27/2020 3:05:29 PMI don’t think you can legally use Ventablack as it’s trademarked and owned by an asshole who is being fairly protective of it at this point. Yes, you can trademark colors, which is weird I know. Black 2.0 is a thing and is debatable darker from my experience.

Or be one of those shaders that has a random color not shown on one of the 4 triangles
-
They would have to give it to everyone or make it easy to get beacuse for PvP you'd have a advantage
-
2 Repliesi'd still rather have a colour wheel/pallete
-
I would prefer a shader that is so white it blinds my opponents in crucible
-
4 RepliesA good black in D2 would still look Off because this game’s colors look washed out.
-
And please make guardians in vanta black spontaneously combust from absorbing too much solar radiation.
-
I'd like a patent leather black. Paint my guardians in latex please
-
I want to know the name of the one that sort of make you transparent and twinkly - I guess it's kind of a blue color. I see people wearing it every once in a while in the Tower or in Crucible matches. Landed in the middle of a match today and everyone on both sides had that same shader. It was just nutty and I bugged out quickly since I was just a sitting duck without that shader.

9 RepliesYes, to a solid black shader, HELL NO, to making it some stupid sweaty challenge to get it!!!!!
-
You’d almost have an advantage on maps like Burnout lol. But seriously, it’s weird that we don’t have a black shader yet.
-
A complete black shader? No. That’s cultural appropriation. Shame on you. Here. Have a rainbow one. That way everyone is covered.
-
So basically you want to be invisible. If they can figure out a way to make us grind longer, you might have a winner.
-
Honors isn't a completely white shader, it absorbs an amount of light or you wouldn't be able to discern the shape of any object the shader is applied to. If Bungie does implement any shaders like this, they will be Eververse exclusive. If Bungie really wanted their money, they'd put them in a Silver-only bundle with a sparrow, ship, and ghost shell that look thematically tied to the story and sell the bundle for 2000 Silver. As an extra kick, the ghost shell should absolutely not have Guiding Light under any circumstance.

A black so black you look like a literal shadow?
-
3 RepliesI wish there were better pink shaders
-
Wanted this for so long whenever they release shaders that're black as they say. They always have something that ruins it for me, like stripes or some other colour mixed with it. So a proper pure black shader would be great.
-
I am waiting for a real black shader for so long now....
-
1 ReplySo basically, you want to look like a silhouette.
-
Edited by rian: 6/26/2020 10:31:50 AMI would love a black shader
-
Iv been asking for the ability to make are own shaders made from colors from shaders we already have unlocked... Full control over your armor and weapon colors.
-
2 RepliesI still really liked the way shaders worked in D1 compared to D2. And, D1 has super black.
-
The Vantablack name specifically is trademarked though.

Edited by Cpt_Ambel: 6/26/2020 10:33:32 AMHave you any idea how hard it was not to make the obvious pun correlated with some real world events and the name of one of the main movements behind its global visibility? Also gimme the black shaders! I would like them to be spread across the reflective range though, from shinny to VantaBlack like. Edit: Punctuation...

Not saying Shrouded Stripes is bad but if I had to choose between it and Superback I'd pick the latter.
