Does F2P Destiny 2 have disadvantages?
So i recently downloaded Destiny 2, for free. Now i dont know if you are punished for playing for free? I feel like people who actually bought the game deal more damage in PvP, now i dont know if that is because i suck in PvP or because there is an actual advantage from buying the game, which is fine but i cant buy the game anyomre know so i cant get rid of that disadvantage (if it exists)
Would love to get answer to this, a simple "yes, there is a disadvantage." or "no, there is no disadvantage." would be a huge help and if there is a disadvantage please tell me how to get rid of it.

Well, yes and no. Yes because some guns are locked behind DLC. No, because you can still make due with what you can get.

People who've been playing for a longer period of time will have access to weapons that give them a greater advantage in individual gunfights whether they've paid for Destiny 2 or not. There are some exotics that require owning expansions, like Xenophage, but these aren't an automatic win button so long as you can figure out how to counter them.
