I'm just curious if this was made a thing what kind of exotic armor catalyst people of the community would think of or how the catalyst would improve on the exotic armor perk

1 ReplyThat would be funny. Head armor- Must receive 1,000,000 damage to head. Arms- Melee kill 1,000 enemies with melee charge Chest- Must receive 1,000,000 damage to chest without dying (dying resets progress) Legs- 500 kicking finishers. Class- N/A

When catalysts first released we had a big discussion about possible armor ones. Definitely some cool shit, and I bet we see it happen next gen

Honestly not a bad idea, Exotic Armor NEED to use seasonal mods however and that should be added ASAP

I would also love it if the catalyst added the old astrocyte perk from D1 as a bonus which it started health regen as soon as you blinked. That would really power up the exotic in many ways and I could finally have a viable mobile warlock void class. Nezarecs sin catalyst could grant double the energy regen on multikills on top of what it already does that it can go up all the way to 20 seconds. Skull of ahamkara catalyst should make all nova bombs turn into lance nova and add the perk annihilation (D1 perk) that increases the blast radius of the void abilities by an extra 3-5 meters. Bottom tree nova would finally be viable at shutting down supers. Contraverse hold should get the nothing manacles perk added on top of that in which it grants 2 grenades and as an added bonus, every grenade thrown with this exotic is always an overcharged grenade. So basically top tree voidwalker overcharged grenades without having to charge them. This is what I can think of out of the top of my head, they are pretty broken but imagine if all armor catalyst came out as strong as these?

war rig catalyst would just enable its refill perk for every other automatic weapon(trace rifles, smgs, and the full auto sidearm archetype)

Armour perks are powerful enough for the most part. And probably the thing they've struggled the most to balance over that last few seasons.

32 RepliesYes but exempt some exotics for it. Some exotics let Titans one hit shoulder charge you and we don't need that to be any sweatier. Also a buff for one-eyed-mask would be nightmarish in crucible. The meaning of this presentation? Don't give crayon eaters harder shoulders. Also: CATALYST ST0MP EE-5 WOULD BE EPIC. Can't wait to see hunters jumping 3 times their height and sliding across the map.

3 RepliesExotic armor perks are kinda already too powerful, and buffing them would be just terrifying... Some exotic armor does need buffs- but there are so many that are overpowered, cough cough OEM and Antaeus, that any buff at all would be broken
