I mean, we're all here because we actually want to be. That's a no-brainer. We care about the game enough to actually explore past the surface and dive into the lore. We're the ones who've actually played the game, felt like we've experience what our guardians have experienced. And Bungie spits in our face and says "Here, have some recycled content and a new patrol event that isn't actually new." Personally I hate that. But if they actually listen (which I doubt they will), we'll hopefully get to actually see the full story unfold. Or we'll see them do something as dumb story-wise as say, bring Cayde back from the dead for example. I feel like that's where the game is going and I don't feel safe knowing.

If you enjoy Destiny related discussion, then yeah, you’d enjoy #lore. I don’t really as much, as even when you’re joking, there’s still the nerd who who doesn’t get it, and ends up replying with a lecture about how your joke is factually wrong, when in reality, it doesn’t matter. The only other sub-forum that I more or less respect, is #offtopic, although it’s not for everyone. There’s definitely the fair share of people who can’t take a joke, however you’re more likely to have a good time with it, unless you’re actively picking fights. However none can compare to the most productive, meaningful, positive, welcoming, wholesome, and helpful sub forum of them all,
#destiny2.
Edited by klasik_klutz: 6/24/2020 8:33:20 PMI generally post stuff here so i don't get downvoted by peaple who go throgh the forms, downvoting pro-bungie post. i have nicknamed these people, saltloards

49 RepliesOfftopic is still the most chill. Lore is third best behind CompanionApp.

1 ReplyEdited by iKARUS: 6/25/2020 4:03:22 PMLore is honestly why im still here. Sure the tension and satisfaction of pvp is a short lived high. But I'm really happy with prophecy. With the new darkness classes and the diving into the true geit of what we wanted in D1. I'm gonna buckle this one last time for the dlc. But if its shite. No more charity to this platform

1 ReplyI like the lore section because it’s the only place that isn’t full of extremely dense people who will not, and I mean NOT EVER, admit that you may even be SLIGHTLY right even if you were to threaten them or offer them $700,000.

2 RepliesCompletely disagree. Most lore ppl won't bite. Feedback is where the fun is. I recommend bringing 2 extra large buckets.

Whatta bout offtopic tho

I'd better not fall into either of those categories.

When the main source of salt is people complaining about fanfiction, you know you're in a good place

2 RepliesYet everyone is passive aggressive about fanfics here...

Because we dont whine over little things maybe?

His death means too much to the story that to revive him or bring him back in some way undoes much of the character development done to characters like Zavala, Ikora and Amanda. I also agree with the sentiment of the lore forums being less salty (for lack of a better term). However because it shares a space with the main destiny 2 forum, the Salt seeps in. Which is a pain for people who just want to talk about the lore.

Because it's full of fan-fiction?
