Its 2020 and i am farming for EP shotgun in Destiny 2.
In a 1060 activity where the only good loot is a shotgun from 3 years ago. Is this Luke Smith's vision?
I guess the bright side is i got one with threat detector and vorpal. So i can use this in the next raid....
I mean i am going to year 4 raid with EP shotgun dude.... Did all the creativity leave with Acitivision?

2 RepliesRight, so they "sunset" the original just to re-release this gun again. This is what we have to look forward to in 2023 - a new season tigerspite or Reverie dawn armor. If they sunset my master worked armor I'm out.

[/quote] It's 2020 and I'm still missing 2 sleeper nodes that RNG decided not to give me, no matter how much I try to get them. And now that Mars is going to be vaulted out of the game I'll never get them, not because I haven't tried hard enough but because Bungie has a weird, strange pleasure in difficulting the access to simple things in this game. It's all about grind, grind and grind, but with a bad implemented RNG added on top. That's how stupidly tuned this game is.

1 ReplyAre current drops of EP weapons max power 1360? If so I’ll start farming EP again soon! Getting depressed over losing certain staples of my build (though in truth I mostly use the Treat Level for a trench barrel shotgun since I got that. But Threat Level’s & the raid it came from going away too.

14 Replieswell its an mmo what did you expect. no content to be reused? most mmos reuse a lot of content, this should be expected and i dont understand why so many people freak out over it. even then there are so many more unique guns than like 90% of shooters out there.

12 RepliesI am rather surprised that they made such an amazing dungeon, and then decided to populate it with old weapons. Regardless. The dungeon is still amazing, and loads of fun. That's what I play it for. What people tend to forget is that weapons literally only matter if they have good perks or possible perk combos. Base stats can affect decision making a little (but there is usually just one that's "the best"). Bungie could put a literal twig in the game but if it had a new amazing perk as well as +10 range than another shotgun people would nut over it. The Ikelos shotgun has a pretty good skin on it and has some good rolls. Would a new weapon skin be nice? Sure it would. But I don't really see why it matters to people. A shotgun is a shotgun. We will for sure get new shotgun skins in the DLC. Hopefully, those will be cool. I get this is a looter shooter. But I think people forget to have fun playing this game sometimes. And I'll never understand how people expect to have fun farming. Would you be happy if you were farming for a new shotgun with the exact same stats and perk combos as long as it had a new skin?

People here are complaining about obtaining a shut gun we’ve already had, just so we can use the re-obtained shotgun in higher level activities for a few more seasons. Meanwhile gamers outside the Destiny community will be like, “It’s the current year, and people still play this game?”. Sadly enough people will still get to say this for at least two more years.

2 RepliesVery Sad isn't it. I got a Uriels Gift yesterday, was checking it's stats and noticed it's power cap limit was 1260. Even if it was a god roll, I still wouldn't want to have to use it compared to the other weapons I have already. The future for weapons is pretty Dismal.

Oh you don't wanna have a classic weapon to use for the next year along with all the new stuff coming out next DLC then? We are gonna get tons of new stuff. If u don't want it, don't get it.
