Looking at trials report, out of the top 10 weapons, there are about 3 weapons that are balanced and have a risk/reward imo.
1. Revoker (376k kills) - Allows you to hardscope forever, camp spawn, miss and not be punished. All with a low zoom scope and ridiculous aim assist due to high range stat. Needs a nerf.
2. Felwinter’s Lie (320k kills) - Rewards aggression, risk reward as you have to get close. If you really think shotguns are a problem after the nerf, maybe don’t let the enemy get in melee distance.
3. Summoner (290k) - .7 ttk, extremely forgiving, undisputed in the open. Autos have dominated since Season of the Worthy. Melts way too fast for being the easiest weapon type to use.
4. Gnawing Hunger (230k) - see above.
5. Beloved (223k) - Might have high aim assist, but takes skill, at least it doesn’t RETURN BULLETS like revoker. Although, flinch on snipers shouldn’t move reticle on to the head. Ease of use might need looking into for low zoom scopes with high aa.
6. Suros (217k) - More lethal than an lmg. Put it on in qp, easiest, no brain we ran of my life.
7. Dire Promise (137k) - If you use this I commend you. You have a brain, because this gun is a risk/reward, not a gun that takes 0 brain power like summoner/suros/revoker/arbalest. Yeah, I’m biased. Debate me.
8. Mountaintop - You aren’t fun at parties if you use this
9. Bastion - See #8
10. Mindbender’s - See # 2

31 RepliesEdited by Soupreem: 6/21/2020 1:19:31 PMHe's using Dire-Winter... Salty Hand Cannon Ape confirmed Sincerely, actually use a 600 AR. They're not nearly close to "god-tier" as people claim. Also unironically saying Arbalest and especially Bastion don't require a brain but "spam shots blindly at enemy while relying on a crit hitbox the size of a Blue Supergiant" does. Bad troll, TBH. You have summoned me.

5 RepliesYou sound like a little scumbag handcannon ape.

All Bungie has to do is buff primaries or reduce special ammo by a lot.
-
There will always be a meta. Using it doesn’t make it cheesy.
-
3 RepliesLegit, you can’t win in comp without a 600. I tried using cold denial, and I still almost won, but not nearly as easily as using duty bound or gnawing hunger. And then there’s Suros regime...

Mountaintop is essentially a shotgun with range. A 1 hit kill in some cases (I have survived hits from them). Bastion - Cmon dude really? Fusion rifles can't be used why? Summoner and Suros - They're fine. Summoner you need to farm trials for. Suros is an exotic that is as close to balance as it can get with swinging the pendulum in a bad direction. Dire Promise? Oh look spare rations 2.0 cool. Gnawing Hunger - It's a balanced weapon. Like steelfeather. Felwinters lie - It's fine. Mindbenders - So inconsistent that I dismantled mine and switched to a fusion rifle.

It literally doesn’t matter. If it’s in the damn game it’s fair game. Period

4 RepliesThissssssssss. What is crazy is that the players who T-bag you or stack teams are the ones who run this loadout. Not one lick of skill in their left or right thumbs. 😂😂😂😂
-
2 RepliesWell, what kind of cheese is it?
-
1 ReplyConveniently the virgin Revoker/mountaintop and gnawing hunger/summoner can be used together 👍
-
1 ReplyJust check whatever's "meta" and play it until you can't stand it anymore. Going against it is just frustration that can be avoided.
-
3 RepliesSo what are the 'non cheese' weapons, Dire Promise aside?
