Is there Cheating going on in the Crucible or are we just up against highly skilled players?
📣 Ok what is your honest opinion? I have seen to many one shot kills by weapons that do not have that ability. I have see players zipping around the map at Unrealistic high speeds. I have seen players jump at super high heights and be able to hang there too long.
I have joined games with randos and seen dudes on my team lag skipping.
I play Crucible a lot and do my best to overcome the odds. However when you land shots that you know should reward you with a kill, but the opposite happens that smacks of BS!
So what has been your overall experience in the Crucible?

1 ReplyUse the report function. Its the only way Bungie will investigate stuff. If the person was just super lucky, or super good, that's fine. The report won't hurt them. It will get the garbage who are using cheats and ruining the game for the rest of us.

I'd say it depends on your platform. Console's pretty much free of cheating in this game besides DDoSing. But PC on the other hand... [spoiler]Just be prepared to be dumpstered by a level 7 Hunter who's giving the Flash a run for his money(pun intended), or an invisible, map-sized Nova Bomb.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesNah there's no cheaters at all. I just see other gamers who have a badass gaming chair, gaming headset and some nice refreshing G-Fuel.

1 ReplyIt's definitely lots of cheaters that have been unleashed to create havoc among the entire pvp player base. Most cheaters have super high stats so with sbmm they were kind of contained to being put in matches with other cheaters and other legit god tier players. Now though they have been freed.

Wall hacks, aim-bot, and invincibility are some that I have seen. I was once killed from the other end of the map as well.

Idk I am playing on PC with controller, and after they "fixed" the bug with sprinting I also got a feeling that I got slower. Before it was almost like I was playing with MnK.

1 ReplyThere are some fantastic players in PVP, no doubt. I try and pay attention to what those players are doing for such success. Hmmm, but it feels icky when you occasionally see a player appear to break the game, matrix-Nero level abilities that leave you knowing there’s no Load-out or hours of practice you could do to replicate those teleporting one-shot guardians. Love the game. Maybe it’s just terrible internet. Isn’t Connection Based supposed to help with this?!?!

I can't believe It's almost like bungle has no anti cheat

2 RepliesYou are not on pc so its not cheating, just players that are better than you. I have played extensively on playstation and haven't seen the weird behavior that you describe.

1 ReplyYou just need to get better. Get a fireteam, mine is great. We were in a match with a bunch of skilled snipers. We were getting destroyed. Then we changed to anti-sniper tactics. Scores flipped like a hamburger patty. They were DONE. Figure out the weakness, no one is perfect. Someone will lack something.

1 ReplyI don’t know if I still have it recorded but I was playing clash with a friend on console and you know how your team loads in then you see everyone standing by each other then the screen turns black? After the screen went back to normal their was a -blam!-in enemy titan flying in the air at our spawn lol guy uses hell from above an nearly takes us all out lol I’ll never forget that

No cheating besides lag switch, or ddos so unless you’re coming across lag switch a crap ton you’re not getting cheaters all the time on ps4.. I mean really?

If you are on pc cheaters do exist but if you play console they are 99,99% just better players.
